My wife and I were working hard establishing a part time cabin along the Gunnison River and found this excellent local place which was on our way home after shopping. . We were regular at several times a week visiting customers during the latter part of 2021. Service was always excellent and several food selections were great at very fair prices. Mostly...this is a beer and burger place for us. The crowd is friendly and there is easy parking.

I've always heard such great things about this restaurant but unfortunately like many other reviews, the customer service is poor. I was excited to order a couple drinks and enjoy the ambience but was met with a drunk manager who made myself and my guest feel very uncomfortable. Please consider re-training management to be sober.

We had burgers which were very tasty. They did tend to be a bit pricey for the size but this seems to be the way of things these days. The employees were friendly, clean, and professional. It is a relaxing place to enjoy whatever you are getting; food, drink, etc. I have a bias against extra charges that are not disclosed in advance. In the case of Handlebar, they included an employee health care charge. I am supportive of providing health care to the employees so increase the prices of your menu items to cover this. Don't list the menu price as one thing and then increase the price with additional add-on charges. Also, when figuring the tip, it should be based on the total prices of items order, before the sales tax. In the case of Handlebar, they calculated the tip based on the total bottom line; food, tax, employee health care. We enjoyed the place and will only go back if menu prices accurately reflect the price one will be charged.

Nice place, great ambiance, and excellent service! I had a burger with cooked onions, pepper jack cheese, and a spicy BBQ sauce, all the toppings were delicious but I didn’t get much flavor from the beef; maybe too many toppings???‍♂️ The onion rings were a surprise since they aren’t made in house but they were very crispy and tasty, the dipping sauce was excellent. I’ll definitely try this place again.

The owners are great and the staff is usually. Lately the night bartenders have come in with such a chip on their shoulders that I have gone from 3 times a week to once or twice a month. We all have problems. Check your stuff at the door.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I watched a bartender answer nearly 20 questions from a lady who'd not been out in years with a fantastic attitude.Food is tasty. I find the brioche buns to be a bit dry. The toppings bar of various sauces is great. In particular the aioli and BBQ.Of particular excellence are the cheese curds. These are not the frozen sticks or nuggets. They are hand battered goodness like I used to get up north. Yum!

High prices for mediocre food. Always scary when a burger bar asks you if you want your burger "pink or no pink". Doubly so when you request that it have pink (which encompasses all burger temperatures except for one) and it is served well done or "no pink". The food tasted fresh which was a plus, but their sides outshone their burgers which was a shame. The service was decent and the food passable, if underwhelming, otherwise I'd rate it lower. I wouldn't come back here which is a shame because the place has a decent atmosphere, but the food is nowhere near worth the prices they charge.

A wonderful bar and grill

Typical bar food. Small portions for the cost.

Awesome place! Really tasty food and lots of beer options. They allow dogs on the patio. Busy place on the weekends so don't go in expecting an in and out, but when you have time, you should definitely check it out!
