Nice local ice cream shop with friendly staff and mostly clean tables. The gelato is yummy and soft. For a guy that recently had oral surgery, gelato is my friend! It's a tasty treat in the heart of Downtown GJ.
Excellent. The Smurf gelato is Banana Laffy Taffy flavored. They also have tropical gelato and I chose the "chai tea" -- magnificent.Friendly staff. So happy to have them on Main Street!Found a lucky penny here. And a second one, but I left it -- maybe you will find yours, too.
As a person with dietary restrictions I am super impressed with the selection. My son and I cannot have dairy and typically there are 5+ options for flavors. Plus you are getting a reasonable amount for the cost. Cheaper than some national brand ice cream places and far better quality!
Gelato Junction is a nice place to get a little gelato in hot weather. Their gelato is good. Their smoothies are a little bit on the syrupy side but decent (I recommend the mango one). They recently added bubble tea to their menu. I LOVE a good bubble tea and couldn't pass up the chance to try theirs. They were out of black milk tea the day I went so I tried a Thai iced bubble tea. The drink was pretty watery with hints of the iced tea used in Thai iced tea but no cream (I added some heavy cream at home and it turned out pretty good). The tapioca pearls were not chewy and didn't have any flavor to them. All in all, I know it is difficult to start a bubble tea trend in an area with few people interested in that sort of thing. The tapioca is hard to keep chewy if no one buys it regularly and a good milk tea is really hard to make (trust me, I know). I'd recommend passing on the bubble tea in favor of a good gelato cup for now. To Gelato Junction, don't give up! You made me (an Asian, a minority in this city) really happy to see another business trying to sell bubble tea. Thank you. :)
I had a scoop of Moose Tracks and a scoop of Oreo cookies in a waffle cone with sprinkles. It was very tasty. Friendly employees.
Delicious and fun flavors, and the staff is always really nice!
This is a welcome place after shopping downtown. There are quite a few varieties of gelato and also normal ice cream. My mint chocolate chip was a bit on the mild flavored side; it wasn’t very minty, overall, it is a good place—just get a taste of the varieties you want first.
What a fun little place! We both really enjoyed our ice creams, I had the salted caramel and it was delicious! And the service today was fantastic!!!
The kids scoped this place out and adored all of the options they had to chose from. Emily ended up with a rose gelato cone, Xavier had an Irish mint that would wake you up with a kick! It was a delicious end to lunch and definitely a place we would recommend to any gelato lover.
I absolutely loved this store. I love that you can mix different flavors and there is even edible cookie dough and brownie batter.
