Amazing food and equally great service!!!
ALWAYS great atmosphere and terrific authentic Italian food ALWAYS.
I walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and I gladly waited as the host and manager were friendly and accommodating. The glass of malbec recommended by the bartender, the chicken parmesan and the coconut cream pie were spot on.
Best Italian restaurant on the western slope of Colorado. Fresh ingredients, great Pizza crust. Friendly service. "Dirty Hippy" beer is served here.
Very good, reasonably priced Italian food. Enjoyed my Chicken Picatta very much. Just off I-70, near many hotels in Grand Junction CO. Friendly, attentive staff in a comfy environment. Located in a strip mall. Drawback: Not every item on the online menu is still available. Supply shortages have led to the elimination of several of the Raviolis, for instance.
We have been to Citrola's probably 8-10 times over the last two years. The location is convenient if not very attractive on the outside. Inside is comfortable. We really like the food and the servers are doing it right. I appreciate that the owner is nearly always present and finds a momemt to say thanks. As a former owner of a pizza business (19 years) I know that it takes commitment from the owner to keep the game rolling. We like the pizza, the lasagne, the mussels! Good place for an extended family event. Not as stuffy as some of the other italian places in town (that also have good food)
The food here is simply to die for. Even though my mother splurged all of her money on the food here whilst we stayed in the hotel right beside Citrola's, it just proves on it's own that the food here is beyond amazing. My favorite thing from the menu was the Fettuccini Alfredo, and the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. In my personal opinion, the food here is the closest I've tasted to authentic Italian food in the U.S. so far. I recommend coming here if you're passing through grand junction.
Just passing through on vacation and stopped by for a pizza. Fantastic pizza, staff and the restaurant was the best setting for a nice quiet dinner. If we lived in this area this would be our Friday night dinner place. Keep up the wonderful service and food for everyone.
Came for early dinner in August, we walked from our nearby hotel, convenient. It’s a cozy place with rustic elegant decor and limited seating. They also have a small outdoor patio area. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating but the place filled up fast so he got busy after our food came. Food was hot and delicious, no complaints here. Would dine there again if ever back in town.
Food was pretty good, but takeout service was 1 star out of 5. First off restaurant phone is not operating, so I had to travel and place my order in person. Waitstaff was friendly and said my order would take 15 to 20 minutes to be ready. Twenty five minutes later I checked in and they had no idea that a takeout order had been placed. After 45 minutes of waiting, I got my order only to find that one of the items (Italian Cobb salad) had no grilled chicken with it as it should, but at that point I was home and did not want to travel back to the restaurant to complain. In summary, food was good. Takeout service was really slow. Order accuracy was poor. I paid $15 for a salad with no chicken on it. I will not go back again.
