Amazing food and equally great service!!!
ALWAYS great atmosphere and terrific authentic Italian food ALWAYS.
First off… the server, she was very nice, polite and attentive… 5 stars for her. I had the coconut shrimp appetizer and then the lasagna. The shrimp was okay… a bit dry (maybe overcooked) but the sauce was good. The lasagna was very bland… nothing Italian in the flavor… bordered on cardboard. I asked for a margarita and it turned out to quite possibly be the worst margarita I’ve ever had… 2 sips and I returned it and asked for a simple lemonade. They credited me for the margarita. I tipped the waitress well because none of the poor star value is her fault. I won’t frequent this place again. Sorry!
I’ve had great food there before, but last night when calling to make a later reservation for my wedding anniversary I was told to “not bother and just come in” by the host. Upon arrival 10 minutes later, she informed us that the wait would be “a very long time” and shrugged at me. I understand that restaurant environments are fluid and constantly changing but it felt like she had no interest other than to waste our time and we would have been happy to show up in a few hours time if we had been able to make a reservation in the first place.
We had a late dinner not realizing it was almost closing time. Our experience was so amazing even though we are sure everyone was ready to go home. Thank you so much for being wonderful, our family can't explain what that means.
Food was great, would love to say the same for service. The service was slow, unfriendly, and very ungrateful. The bartender seemed very missable about being there and could have cared less if we were there or not. We sat next to a couple from out of state, who like us were very unhappy with the attitude of the staff. I am not sure if I would go back and definitely would not recommend to anyone else.
I walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and I gladly waited as the host and manager were friendly and accommodating. The glass of malbec recommended by the bartender, the chicken parmesan and the coconut cream pie were spot on.
Best Italian restaurant on the western slope of Colorado. Fresh ingredients, great Pizza crust. Friendly service. "Dirty Hippy" beer is served here.
So disappointed! Citrolas has been our favorite restaurant for years. The service is great but the food is not even close to what it used to be. Our bread was cold with butter poured over top. Normally it’s warm with a crispy outside. The chicken Marsala was terrible. My husbands pizza was subpar. Used to be his favorite. Their best dish Italian Gumbo is no longer even on the menu? My grandpa didn’t want to finish his Chicken piccata. Way overpriced for the quality food.
Great food, super delicious, above expectations. Service was great, if on European standards, which is more relaxed. Recommended and worth the wait. One of those meals you savoir.
