Buffet style serving line. Imitation Mexican food terrible taste. Flour tortillas were really bad.
Good place for a burrito. Great enchilada style.

I ordered using the app for a pickup time of 1.5 hours after ordering. when I got there 10 mins before my pickup time my food was already sitting there ready for pickup and I sat down to eat it immediately and the food was barely even considered warm. I'm wondering if they received my online order and made it before they looked at the time it was set for pickup. I still love cafe Rio and there food but hopefully they can improve on making food right before pickup and not right when the order is placed.
I've been to many Cafe Rio locations from Vegas to SLC and this Grand Junction store is the BEST. The veggie taco salad I'm enjoying right at this moment is an absolute work of art! The crew was incredibly friendly as well. Hometown Cafe Rio rules!
I apologize for the lower rating, as I am usually a huge fan of Cafe Rio. This location, unfortunately lacks in a few areas. They have consistently been out of several different ingredients and have seemed to be understaffed at times. I have noticed that the tortillas have also seemed a bit dry, as if they had been sitting for quite some time. I do feel for the staff. They have been nice, overall, yet I have not gotten the sense that they are happy/enjoy working there. I am not from here, so not wanting to criticize, just wanted to share honest observations/thoughts from personal experience there.
The food was surprisingly good in this low key restaurant. Fresh, flavorful, with vegetarian options. Good value.
I ALWAYS have a great experience in store with this location, everyone is always so nice! However, the wait times have been extremely long, the tables seem to be *sticky* and last time we were in there, there were boxes on the empty tables blocking us from sitting down.Also, if you ever need to call, just don't. The people in the corporate office are SO RUDE! It's awful.Again, this will not stop me from going here because the food is so wonderful!! ??
They forgot half of my order for pick up and got mad at me when I made them aware. All because they were starting to put stuff away 2hrs before close time. I love the food but horrible experience with them recently.
