They are doing it right here! We’ve had a few meals here and every time the staff is friendly, prompt and always working hard. The food is delicious. The drink selection is solid with a great range. The food has consistently been fantastic. Served quickly, hot, and with great flavor combinations. The green chili is delicious, reminds me of the one I make at home. The chicken ranch bacon wrap is great, filled with a good balance of ingredients. And the Cajun chicken sandwich is super delicious - I love that it’s pulled chicken and everything combined really well. The fries are also bomb.Nice work, keep it up Trailhead! We’ll be back again and again!
Trailhead is one of the best places for food, fun, and conversation. The entire team is knowledgeable with beer pairings and where to go in Golden! I always see their team having fun and laughing together which is indicative of great management. Missy, the manager, has made some changes in the menu and with events that really are a great addition!The menu is affordable and has a variety to offer customers. Best place to go in Golden!
Great spot for some beers and food! The staff are really friendly and helpful. It can get a little packed with people so make sure you arrive early to get a spot! The truffle parm fries were delicious!
This is the third time we’ve been to the tap house but first time we’ve eaten. We didn’t eat the first two times because when we got seated, we noticed no one around us had their food and other tables warned of a long wait. This time we were able to get a table at a reason time and were hungry so decided to order some food. When our wings came, we asked for napkins and silverware (time #1). We also ordered another round of drinks; the second round didn’t come for 15 minutes and after we had to flag the server down and remind her for drinks. Also had to ask for napkins and silverware (time #2). I never got my second lemonade, my husband had to go to the bar to get his beer. Finally was able to put our order in, and still no napkins (#3), nor water refill. When our food came, we were starving, as it had been over an hour. A different server finally got us napkins and silverware so we dug in (#4). I can’t have raw red onions and there were a ton, not advertised on the salad I ordered. Other salads on the menu listed red onion so I purposely avoided those. My friend’s catfish was raw in the middle but unfortunately she still ate some before noticing, and got sick that night. We let the chef know, and glad they got it removed. Odd with my salad they instead removed two beers instead of the salad, as my husband and I didn’t order two beers, so we’d have to split things on our own instead of the restaurant helping us out. Final frustration was they charged us for a side of kettle chips, even though they came with the po boy. We added a side of rice and beans, paid for that, but still have to pay for our chips. Overall, disappointed with the entire experience and would not recommend.
The Trailhead Taphouse and Kitchen is a great place to relax, have a few drinks and enjoy deliciously cooked food. There's an extensive choice of both and when I visited the service was provided by Jill and Luke, who were fabulous and nothing was to much trouble. If your visiting Golden you can find the venue on 12th and Miners Alley ? Highly Recommended.
This is a fun place. Went on a Tuesday for lunch and there were plenty of open tables. Guessing that the owner is a Greenbay Packers fan who loves the flavors of Louisiana...but there were lots of pub style food options on the menu as well. Really enjoyed the rice & beans and the alligator bites but we also ordered a yummy pizza. Friendly and attentive service...would visit again:)
Burger was super tasty (beef and elk) and the servers were attentive, timely, and very friendly. Good vibes all around. I will remember to return here in the future and recommend to anybody who wants an all around good experience and good food.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim. We sat at the bar and the bartender Melissa was a fantastic bartender and gave great recommendations.Great beer selections and incredible food. We got burgers and everyone loved their burgers. I had the elk burger which was fantastic and a side of red beans and rice. I'm pretty sure those are the best red beans and rice I'll ever have in my life.Great spot, really good service, delicious food and good prices!
