The food is fantastic! However, they only do fish fry starting Fridays until they sell out. A group of 6 of us drove over half an hour, from different places in the area, to go here for dinner on a Saturday night only to find out they were closed for a “private event.” Yet there were no cars at all. We tried calling ahead several times that day, prior to driving over there, and no one would answer the phone. There was nothing posted on social media about them closing for a private event. While researching, we found there was a post made WEEKS AGO, on Facebook, saying Rocky Flats is dealing with staffing issues and is temporarily closed. WHY DOESNT YOUR VOICEMAIL OR GOOGLE LISTING REFLECT THAT?! And the notice on the building should not say private event, that implies it is a one time event and customers could potentially come back another day, not that this place is closed for the foreseeable future due to staffing issues. This restaurant is causing so many people to waste time and gas driving to the middle of nowhere for literally no reason. BE HONEST AND UP FRONT WITH YOUR PATRONS.

The food is great(LOVED the patty melt and onion rings-let's say not diet friendly but really yummy.)Ask the servers about the long history. If you are just passing by stop and eat outside and look at the beautiful Flat Irons and mountains. Play some corn hole or horseshoes. If you have kids or dogs this is perfect for a leg stretch to release energy. The chainsaw artist next door does amazing work and we enjoyed walking around his "art garden".
Very clean, great french fries. The bbq sandwich isn't as good as we do in Carolina, but a decent effort.

Fantastic service and atmosphere. Stars deducted due to fish being under seasoned and wife’s cod also slightly undercooked. Will give them another chance as everything else was just that good.
Great view, Great service and the food was delicious. Small, simple menu just the way I like it. Definitely worth a try!

We stumbled upon this bar and grill. The food and service was exceptional. We ended up coming back and had a post wedding dinner with a large group. The waitress was very busy but rocked the service. So impressed! Oh did I mention the food was awesome? ?
Best place around. Everyone’s so friendly! Great outdoor space, fun games for the kids! Great food, fun atmosphere! Must try.
