Beautiful hotel and customer service is stellar!
Staying at the Eddy made our visit to Golden an AWESOME experience! From the moment we made a reservation with Cat you could tell it was going to be a great hotel. Rooms are super clean, modern with all amenities. The lobby/lounge was a great place to relax in the outdoor patio with a great view of the mountains and the clear creek river. Free use of the E-bikes or Mountain bikes was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this place if staying in Golden!
I would love to give this hotel 5 stars. If I was basing it on amenities, rooms and decor it would be. The rooms are spacious and the decor is modern and nice. The location is nice with a walking trail attached to go up the canyon and to the downtown area. My problem with this hotel is the staff and their willingness to assist and disorganization. They did not have the rooms and facts about the reservation correct after multiple follow ups before the stay. They also followed up with us for “taking” a coffee carafe for our room after we refused to pay the $65 cost and ordered Starbucks from down the street for 1/3 the price (by the way we didn’t take it). We were also charged a higher price for the dog fee after confirming multiple times about the cost. Again they had some nice touches but the staff is disorganized. I’m hoping they are new and still figuring it out.
amazing hotel! we weren't ready to leave. food (get the brisket!), atmosphere, the fire pits on the level balconies. live music on the weekends. and the VIEWS.
STAY IN THIS HOTEL! Our stay was so amazing, it couldn’t have been more perfect! My husband and I eloped over the weekend and stayed at The Eddy for two nights and it was just wonderful. From the private rooftop to the friendly staff, we had an amazing stay. Huge shoutout to Abe at the front desk who made our stay even more special! Great drinks, great vibes, great everything. My husband and I stayed here while traveling back to Oklahoma! We had a drink and dessert at the bar and it was amazing! Highly recommend the apple turnover! Gonzo was an awesome bartender and definitely made the experience memorable for us!! If you have the opportunity I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and eating/drinking at the taproom!
NOTHING BUT GREAT!!Perfect venue for multiple company events we have hosted this year. We have stayed over a weekend to host a planning retreat with 8 of our advisors. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean. The meeting room was perfect and lends a more relaxing environment for a team meeting. We used the same room for another company party where we hosted close to 50 people. Again perfect and only rave reviews from our employees and their families. The planning staff was very accommodating with custom requests. The wait staff was amazing. And a big thank you to Chef Ben who created an great menu with truly amazing food.
I recently booked a room for our family and a dining reservation for 8 of us to celebrate my husband's birthday at the Eddy. It was a wonderful experience from the ease of booking to the excellent customer service throughout our stay. We were greeted promptly when we arrived and check-in was a snap- be sure to grab a free beer tasting token! They had put some bubbly in our room for our special occasion- nice touch. Dinner with our local friends was delicious..so many tempting dishes, it was hard to choose and the giant pretzel with dips is not to be missed. Also, highly recommend the blackberry margarita.
We planned to elope at Lookout Mountain but had to change plans last minute because of cold weather. We decided to try out the Eddy Hotel and we were not disappointed! The rooftop patio was beautiful in the winter storm, the staff was incredibly nice, and the taproom was wonderful as well. The hotel is wonderful as well. Such a great experience!
