Very good food. It was mother's day extremely busy. We waited 45 minutes for our food because they'd made a mistake. But they made it right by a$25 certificate & free meal plus they apologized multiple times.
If they put some sauce or extra seasoning on the entrées it would be 5 stars. Meat was tender, juicy, and good, but on a sandwich without sauce it isn't as great. Ask for some sauce when you order.Otherwise it's a great experience with friendly staff. I'd love to do their seafood boil. And the cobbler was actually amazing. You gotta try the place if you're in the area.
The staff was amazing. Everyone from the time we enterd the door were friendly. I have severe food allergies. Not only did our amazing sever make sure I was safe with my delicious food; the owner and manager came over to say hi and go over everything with me. My friend and I had amazing service, great food with a nice atmosphere. i wpikd definitely recommend Genesee Pub and BBQ.

It was my birthday and under crazy circumstances we were finally able to make it in 30 mins before close. A group of 5 plus one baby is a lot to handle at the last minute especially during a snow storm but Caroline and Chase were AWESOME!! Thank you so much for making our night!☺️☺️
This casual bbq joint has table service, a full bar, a wine list, and lots of things going for it. It's not the best bbq of all time, but overall pretty good. Our server Chase was top notch.
Not good barbecue. The sauce is good but that’s about it. The nachos are an interesting idea doing the waffle fries but then the tomatoes and sour cream and guacamole plopped on top is underwhelming. No cheese with the nachos? And no chili on mine. Weird. The brisket was a great texture but it was tasteless. The wings were big but they were off once again. Everything was slightly off to be honest. The bartender was loudly talking anarchist politics with the server loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. Sleepy little bbq restaurant that should be slept on! Skip it.
Great value and service. Had the brisket and Cobb salad. Interesting options of bbq, cajun, and northeastern seafood.
This is real smoked bbq. Loved everything. My wife and I split the 1/2 sampler which came with most items. You could point to any item and say it was delicious just to follow up by pointing to everything else. The outdoor seating was inviting with plenty of heat to go around.
