We went here because it was kid and dog friendly... Dog friendly for sure but it took 30 minutes to get served from when we sat down, my 4 year old noticed it was taking forever. The kids grilled cheese was two big pieces of dry bread and some shredded cheese, the macaroni didn't have any sides so you have to order extra sides make sure the kids had the same thing, and there were only gigantic cups of water for the kids, at least they had lids. So don't take kids here if they are under 6.To end on a positive note: the green chili fries and the cider house burger were great. My dog had her own water bowl and the ciders were decent.

Awesome salads and sandwiches. Super cider selection and options for brews and cocktails as well. Apps are tasty and sides delicious. Indoor seating and a small patio for outdoor diners. Great local dining off the main drag in Golden. Helpful and friendly servers; I’ve enjoyed this locally owned restaurant.
This place is great, support local, we stumbled in after a hike in Golden. Good service, good food (we had burgers cooked perfectly) and the cherry cider was delicious! Not too sweet, not too tart! Would highly recommend checking it out. Love that they also have a patio to enjoy the sunshine!
Amazing selection of food and drinks both!
We both had a cider (one in-house, one partner) and there were no complaints. You can tell this place is well loved--we were at the end of the dinner rush and they were out of the pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. We both had the Cider House lamb burger and WOW. Never thought a mango mint chutney would make such a good combo, but it was delicious. Their fries are also great--I cleared my whole plate of them.
I came here for a late lunch on a Sunday and had a great time. Rachel, at the bar, was awesome. She gave great recommendations for both food and cider. I ended up following her recommendations and had the Nashville style chicken sandwich which was very tasty. I also had two of the in-house ciders which were delicious and very refreshing. I would definitely recommend Colorado +49 if you're a fan of cider.
Wonderful food and drink. The old fashioned was perfect and the lamb burger cooked to order. Gluten free bun a plus. Wait staff polite and friendly.
Extremely friendly from the moment we enter the restaurant. Since it was my first time there, I loved the cider flight to sample different ciders. The food was amazingly delicious. Definitely recommend.
Beers are really good and they have a wide selection (check photos). Burger was good and the Brussel spouts were awesome. Only comment is the burger for some odd reason created a serious soggy bottom which had it fall apart too quickly. Again, burger was good just wish I didn’t have to finish it with a fork and knife. ☹️
