We went on Sunday and they were very short staffed. Our breakfast arrived sooner than our drinks. Loved the place and would go back, but was a bit disappointed.
Everything we had was great, the Brussel Sprouts in particular were amazing!
We had a reservation for indoor. We wanted out door and they seated us right away. The staff is awesome. The food is awesome. I love the view of the foothills. Beautiful table and seating. Right on the river. It was wonderful experience.
Probably the worst food Iâve had in a restaurant. When we were first seated our waitress ran down a list of items that they were out of at 6:00 pm. We decided on 4 orders of fish and chips that after an hour wait were brought to the table but were totally inedible. The fish pieces were coated with a thick hard crust almost impossible to cut through. The actual cod was so overcooked and shrunken that it was hard to find amidst all of the hard crumbly crust. We voiced our complaints to the waitress and the manager. They kindly did not charge us for the fish and chips. It was disappointing because we were entertaining out of town guests but left the restaurant feeling like we had not actually had dinner. We live in Golden but it will be some time before we go back or recommend the Bridgewater Grill.
We sat outdoors since the weather was perfect and had very good service.
Employees seemed distracted and were working hard. Maybe short staffed?? Server, Remie, great, friendly, efficient, BUSY. Outside dining was the goal...very windy. Patio seemed noisy, but we were outside. Food was pretty, good, but for the prices, steak should melt in my mouth. Appetitzer-WHOOHOOO! Burrata! In the hotel and adjacent to the Clear Creek. Nice.
When we arrived for our reservation, and requested to sit on the patio (which we also requested when we booked the reservation) we were told reservations do not apply to the patio. We then weâre put on a wait list just the same as someone who walked up that minute. We ended up waiting about 75 minutes when quoted 30 minutes. For a restaurant that gets business based on its creekside location to not honor reservations for the patio is just silly. Minimally they should make this known to people when booking reservations. When we did eat, the food was fine and would recommend the green chile.
Moms birthday
One of the best outdoor dining options on the front range. Good food, great service, amazing patio. Hard to beat.
Seating and table service were challenging during this lunch rush.
