Great food and service. We’ll be back!

I love the service here!!!!! Excellent tasting food! Absolutely love the plating here. The menu is limited to seasonal options but none disappoint! Anything you order is going to be delicious. Don't skip the bread for starters because oh my gosh it's sooo goooood. Will be back to try the bison tartare and scallops!

Overall a very good dinner from to service, the menu is limited and that's a good thing as the quality is better that way. The lamb was very good as were the scallops. The best part was they do everything a little different from the mixed drinks to the wines they carry to the appetizers and the dinner. Everything was fresh, cooked as ordered and had a great taste. The only thing I'm knocking them on is the portion. Sizes are fairly small for a party of three spent $300 before tip.I would go back again and have been there before. Easy to find parking close but Golden is charging more for that so park on the streets.I would like to go back when the vegetables locally are in season cuz I think they will use a lot more of local produce and meats.

We came for dinner with cousins I had not seen in perhaps 20 years. The menu looked interesting and certainly did not disappoint. We sat outside on a perfect evening. The service was genuinely friendly and expert. (They not only knew the menu but also the process and they had tasted everything personally.) We began with the bread service including two excellent local breads with two compound butters. I continued with a salad of shaved asparagus, pickled rhubarb, green strawberries and nettle greens. This sounds culinarily pretentious; it was simply scrumptious. The entree was a porcini mushroom risotto. At home, as an amateur chef, this is my signature dish. This is the only one I have found that is better than mine. (And I include in my database my annual visit to Florence.) I am an exacting critic of risottos. Restaurants invariably serve risotto that is too far solidified. The texture of this one was perfect, somewhat soupy. Out of this world. For dessert there was a red velvet cake made with beets and topped with Meyer lemon panna cotta. Now I am not a great fan of panna cotta. But this one was made with cream only—no gelatin. It was an incredibly creative elevation of this Southern classic. This reunion was most sweetened by an inner smile as we left the table that is occasioned only by food that is made with love and with joy. Bravi!

I recently enjoyed dinner at Abejas with some girlfriends and we had a lovely time. Because there was a group of us we were able to share our entrees and enjoy the delicious cooking even more. I had the Seared Scallops and the Porcini Risotto and both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. For dessert I enjoyed the S'mores dish and it was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was just the right size and the presentation made the dish even more appetizing. Our server was excellent, paying just enough attention to the table and offering great suggestions of both the food and wine.

LOVED this experience. Literally perfect from start to finish. The plate presentation was exquisite, only to be matched by multiple layers of flavor with each dish. From the moment you walk through the door you feel like you're at home. Each time I visit Abejas I am blown away; the food, exquisite. The staff, impeccable. The aesthetic, inviting. If you're a Golden local, foodie or just want to treat yo'self, go here now. I'll most definitely be back.

Best Restaurant in Golden by far. Great small plates, intimate, and of exceptional quality (the food). If you are meeting some friends or going on a first date, this is a place that will not disappoint. The PORK BELLY is amazing!

Delicious. Every dish was wonderful. An overall great experience.
