I've been coming here for over 3 years at this point, and the food never fails to disappoint! The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. Tortilla Marissa's is definitely my favorite place to get Mexican food in Fort Collins!
Food was great and reasonably priced. We had the fajitas for 2 and didn't finish it all between my girlfriend and I.
Good food, good prices and good service. Worth a stop! Try the Artichoke Queso....wow!
I love the quaintness of TM. it's cozy and friendly whether on a cold winter snowy day or sunny day. I simply love how they have respected me all these years. I like people but I like to go in when the lunch rush is over. it's a 3-hour drive for me from Wyoming to East Prospect Rd at 6721 e county road 44. Happy Cinco De Mayo 2022, Ole:-) TM also reminds me of some of my favorite eateries in Sante Fe, NM.
My husband and I stopped in there yesterday, around 230-300pm. I'm not apologizing for my review. I read some of the reviews and agree. We will not revisit. There was one waiter. My husband had the three chicken taco plate. The shells and rice were clearly boxed. He said the chicken tasted canned. The salsa was below par, tasted like stewed tomatoes. You could taste the "can" in it. Not good. I ordered the Sanoran Platter, the steak and blue corn enchiladas with refried beans instead of black.I was not impressed with my dinner either. The refried beans didn't taste quite right. I didn't care for the rice, the enchiladas weren't terrible but not the best either. Definitely NOT authentic! And I'm not sure where the ex critic that posted received their entitlement of being a "food critic", but definitely needs to taste AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!! I'm married to a Mexican, so know authentic food when tasted!And when the waiter brought me my check, he brought me a receipt you couldn't read. The ink clearly needed changing. Unprofessional.
The server was great. The food was not.3 different entrees that were bland. Refried beans that were extremely watery.The rice tasted as if done out of a box.56 with an 8$ tip later, we’re left hungry, a bit of stomach nausea, we’re left dissatisfied.Do better.
The staff is very nice and attentive. The food appeared nicely but the taste was not good, extremely bland. I have never had refried beans (canned beans are clearly used in this restaurant) with cumin in it. It was awful, PLEASE stop doing that, it ruined the beans. I make my own homemade Mexican food and this was nothing like I've ever made or had. I don't recommend the salsa either, it came out heat hot and confused my table about why it seemed 'stewed.' I'm not sure why this place was rated so highly but anyone with an understanding of Mexican food and culture would definitely not give it 4-5 stars. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars was because of our waiter, the food was terrible. You can tell the green chile is also from a can, probably Stokes green chile, which in itself, is disgusting. Hacienda Real near the highway on Mulberry is a place that serves Mexican food that is palatable and traditional, you should visit and take notes on the way the food is served and tastes.
We visited this establishment this evening. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food came out rather quickly, which usually is a good sign but became an instant stomach ache and long bathroom visit following. I didn’t think anyone could mess up canned refried beans but…y’all did! Please stop adding Cumin to the refried beans, it ruins them and tastes terrible to anyone that is used to eating traditional, homemade refried beans. I’m sorry for the harsh review but our stomachs hurt!!
Tortilla Marissa's is THE BEST food I've found in Foco. The food is delicious and quick to be served. The margaritas are AMAZING. And service is impeccable! The last few times my boyfriend and I have done Dine In, we have had the best service from Ashley! We never leave hungry and are always so happy with everything. Keep being awesome guys, you are rocking it!
Wow! What an amazing dinner we had this evening. This was our first time and it won't be our last! Our server Shauna was on top of everything, very friendly, quick to take our drink and food order. Always checking in on us. The food was fresh and hot! So we're the chips and salsa which was a winner for all of us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
