Excellent food and fantastic service! Moot House reminded my husband and I of an English pub. Iâm a vegetarian but my husband is not. We both had great choices and excellent meals. We are definitely going to go back!
We were seated right away and attended to buy a very sharp server. The two of us shared an appetizer and we each had a cup of soup and an entré. Really, you the experience was very good and the only shortcoming was a relatively sparse menu⦠One single page of food items coupled with a page of alcohol choices. Iâm pretty sure that on previous visits the menu was more extensive and this has me wondering if we received the happy hour menu for eight 6:30 PM seating. Still a classic warm feeling pub!
The fish in the fish and chips had no flavor. My daughter ordered a well done burger but got a rare burger, she was too hungry to send it back. Our waitress was nice though.
Prime rib as wonderful. Sadly, the mashed potatoes were could. Otherwise, it was a great place to eat!!
Food took way too long probably 45 minutes of waiting for food. Server was great and very personable although did not explain why the kitchen was so slow (which has not been our experience before today) When the food finally did arrive, it was good.
The staff at the Moot House was fantastic! The food and service made the experience even better. Great ambiance indoors and the outdoor patio was perfect seated next to the fire pit. We will definitely be back our next time through Fort Collins!
Great pub! Very warm and cozy in vibe. Exactly how pubs should be! Everything from the decor, to the layout, and the staff. It all screams quality and authenticity. Want fish and chips, done. Steak, got it. Schnitzel, absolutely. Mixed drinks, of course. Varied beers, duh. Guinness, wouldn't be a pub without it.If you want a place to enjoy a meal, a drink, and enjoy your environs, The Moot House is your place! Highly recommend.
We visit this restaurant quite a bit because it's locally owned, their quality is consistent, their service is friendly and capable, the vibe is remarkably relaxed, and it's not far from home. So imagine our surprise to find new items on their latest menu revision! Some new things added to old favorites - now, if only they would bring back the Golden Beets...
Wonderful experience, great local place to dine
The nice birthday dinner that was supposed to happen. The steak that was ordered medium was sent to the table bloody. Our appetizers were lukewarm and had obviously been setting somewhere too long. There wasn’t even a happy birthday from anyone and certainly nothing to make it special. Very mediocre and will not be on our return list.
