I wanted to order from Garlic Knot because someone recommended it to me. I googled it on here and the reviews are horrible. I thought why not try it out anyway, she obviously recommended it for a reason. I went to order on-line and they MAKE YOU give a tip. I hate it when places do that. Why do I need to tip you when I am coming to pick up my own pizza. If you want to make the prices higher, make the prices higher. I just don't like it when I am forced to give a tip. A tip is a CHOICE. I don't want to order from your restaurant now. I guess I won't know if your pizza is good or not.
I do generally love Garlic Knot, they've been the closest thing to New York pizza I've had since moving here from NY. However I do notice serious inconsistency in their slices. A few weeks ago my pizza was absolutely delicious and fresh tasting. But last time I went it was very tough, with a hard crust and kind of an old taste, kinda made me feel off. If they were consistent with the high quality they would genuinely deserve 5 stars all around, (I really do love to get their food!!!). The problem is, this inconsistency has been more often to the point where you don't know what you're gonna get each time you go. I wish this wasn't the case cuz this was my fav lunch spot during a work day, but now I'm considering trying other places. I miss when they were super consistent with yummy pizza :(
If you like crust that’s burnt and as hard as the Rocky Mountains themselves and toppings that aren’t cooked… (honestly, did you think we wouldn’t notice you threw them on there AFTER the fact?) then this is your place! Not to mention the amazing pizza sauce that has to be vinegar that’s dyed red.I thought that maybe the cheesy garlic knots would be the saving grace, but, they were missing something… oh, that’s right, the cheese. Oh yea, and the garlic and butter.
This used to be my favorite pizza place in town but the last couple years has done them no good. Wait times used to be no more than 30 for pickup, 45-60 for delivery, but now are 45-60 for pickup and over an hour and a half for delivery. The toppings have been very sparse and some slices have no toppings at all despite paying extra for 2 additional toppings. My last 3 orders have been incorrect (wrong size, wrong toppings, and a missing pizza entirely) and they make no effort to fix it. I got a "well we can make you a new one but it'll be an hour" and had to leave out with the wrong size, despite paying for a larger one. My pizza last night was undercooked and soggy from too much sauce. Sorry to say that will be my last time ordering from here.
Just stopped in for lunch for the first time. Service was phenomenal and the food was mouth watering. The knots came with the best marinara I’ve ever had. They have a great list of different pizzas to choose from but we ordered the “Mott” pizza and it was perfect! Best pizza crust ever!
The pizza was pretty good. My husband found it greasy, but I loved the olive topping choice. Plus the crust was done perfectly. The knots were not stellar and were slightly unevenly cooked.
IF THE OWNER IS READING THIS.... Please take it from a NY'ker from Brooklyn. This is a business that needs to be run better. The last couple of orders that I made was almost a complete waste of my time. Waiting for 1 hour and 40 minutes for a pizza is INANE !!! Called in for an order of garlic knots 3 weeks ago and I was told, 50 minutes !!! WHAT !! These should be READY to GO. Especially with the Business Name "GARLIC KNOT" I could drive to Colorado Springs faster than getting a Pizza.My brother and I had some deli's and pizza places in NY. We made over 550 pizza pies per day. Serviced over 900 customers per day and can whip out a pizza under 19 minutes flat, with triple the population. Don't leave the old Olé and respond by telling me that this helps to Improve. JUST DO IT !!! Or don't.. but I'll never come back. Matt Enzo ran this way better. And for all of the reviews that were positive.... YOU really don't know Pizza, especially from the Boroughs in NYC. Stick to Rock Climbing, Skiing, Making Weed and Hacky Sack while wearing your wool hats with multi-colored hair. GOOD LUCK !!!
If you choose to eat here, just keep in mind that the owner is refusing to pay employees and totally breaking the law. Not to mention, that kitchen is disgusting and I wouldn’t eat anything that came out there
Ordered at 3:00 for a 7:00 pickup. Order not ready.Received a Chicken Caesar salad with blue cheese dressingTwo house salads (should have been Greek) with feta cheese sprinkled on top of them.When questioned about where the chicken ceased salad was, front clerk did not respond with the best customer service. The order was written out and she was having trouble following it. I have the right to know my order is correct before purchase. I will not be back to this restaurant.
So we ordered a large pizza and wings well done, the order was over 20 min late, we ordered at 5:45pm and it came at 7:26, it's happens, but when we got the pizza it was cold and was like a pizza left out for hours and the crust was so hard it would crumble in your hand. The wings we soggy and cold to the touch... but I still even extra tipped our driver for how hard he was working, but called the next day to ask for a refund, since the staff had no manager to authorize that, and Steve was super unprofessional. at first he was going to only credit 30%, and was very condescending on the phone instead of apologetic. I requested the full amount back and told him I would contact my bank of necessary, he got my card number info and was rude the whole time. Then proceeded to argue that my food was done right and he knows for a fact, to this toxic individual, whose ego was clearly bruised, I had to remind him I received the product and it wasn't. He wanted to talk to me about the process of their kitchen and I told him I do not work for you and clearly their are some training opportunities for your establishment and what is the point of this? After the refund was supposedly processed, which I will be checking for, I ended the call. Even how he was acting I have concern giving him that info, time will tell. I would not order from this store and if you do know there is poor leadership there and therefore the quality of your food will be as such.
