my friends and i will definitely be back! this was our first time going to an axe throwing bar. the staff were friendly and getting instructions on how to throw was straight forward and simple. after a few throws we all started to get the hang of it and had ourselves a great time! Also the drink selection is awesome especially if you are an enthusiast of sour beer! Great location and Great atmosphere!
I love coming into Axe & Ale ever since it opened. It has a had a fun, relaxed vibe where you can enjoy a few beers and throw some axes--which was perfect catharsis for all things pandemic. The staff, like Ross, Madison, and Meredith, always bring a great energy to helping you and if you're struggling with throwing they take the time to walk you through best techniques.
What a great place!Bree welcomed us in and explained the dos and don'ts of throwing axes. She was both pleasant and patient with our group.Once we got settled into a lane and got some practice throws in, we made our way to the bar in the back where Ross greeted us and gave us the rundown on options. They have plenty to choose from ready-to-drink cocktails, wine, and craft beer.With drinks in hand, we made our way back to the throwing area and began throwing axes and keeping score. We all were a little shaky at first, but we're quick to pick up the skill.All in all, I'll definitely be back. This was a great way to have drinks with friends, but also to share a fun activity together.
We had a blast (3 out of the 4 of us were first timers) and the staff was incredible! They were friendly and checked in frequently offering pointers, cheering, and refilling drinks. The space was clean and inviting, and the bar was well stocked for a smaller establishment. I would absolutely recommend to anyone — I know we’ll be returning soon. Thanks for a fun night out!
We had a group of 10 people attend last night for my mom’s birthday. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. They checked in on us frequently and even have high fives and encouragement to those that were struggling to get their axe to stick.All of their fees were very reasonable and I was notified when I was booking the party about the large group fee. They let you know what your paying and why upfront so there is not confusion. We all thought that the pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely be returning. We had so much fun.
Lots of fun; the building is cozy but plenty of room for big groups. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and laid back. Drink prices are decent and offer a decent selection as well. Definitely recommend Axe & Ale for family, work, teams, date night, anything!
We had an awesome time at Axe and Ale! We took our team for a fun night out and had a blast. The employees were super helpful and friendly and the space is clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for something new and fun to try!
Nice local Axe Bar. Staff/owner were both very attentive, friendly and professional. They have quite a selection of brew on tap to choose from including selection from local breweries. We went here recently for a friends birthday. Most attendees were new to Axe throwing - the staff did a great job introducing all to Axe Throwing we several games to choose from. They also have several Axes you can try out.
This place is awesome!! The atmosphere was fun and inviting! The drink selection was awesome and I have a new found love for Weldworks Brewing! The staff was energetic and seemed to love what they do! Definitely going back again
