This was the first time we have been to Texas Roadhouse (Fort Collins) since prior to the pandemic. I noticed as soon as we were seated, the tables were sticky. I also found the food to be very mediocre this time. I used to order a small steak which even well done was well-seasoned and tasty. This time the steak was dry, lacked any flavor and the chicken was nothing special, basically bland with barbecue sauce poured over it. The potatoes were smaller than they used to be and one in our party felt his entree portions were smaller than in the past. The salad was okay. The iced tea was weak. Most all of us out there work so hard for our incomes these days as costs are going up everywhere. So I have started speaking up when I feel I don't receive my money's worth. Unfortunately, that was the case July 1st. We probably won't go back.
They know how to cook a steak! That’s all there is to it. My wife and I both like our steaks medium-well. Most places don’t get it right. Texas Roadhouse in Fort Collins always gets it right, melt in your mouth good. I also had the shrimp with my dinner and we started with a perfectly prepared Cactus Blossom. Delicious!…And great service too. Thank you Nicol.
Best steak I've ever had and was cooked perfect for what i like (medium rare), and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend!
Went for dinner, snowing outside, and very cold and windy. Arrive at the restaurant to be greeted by a girl in a window, said she could help. Told her dine in. said 30 minute wait. I said ok, can we wait inside. she said no way. So we have to wait in the snowy windy weather for our table. Never felt so un welcome at a restaurant before. I left angry and annoyed. If Texas Roadhouse does not want diners then close your doors. I'm selling my 100 dollar gift card and never returning. What a horrible way to treat your clients. We will be going to steak houses where people are welcome inside. SHAME ON YOU TEXAS ROADHOUSE.
This is our 1st tie at this place and it's best that you check in early and make sure you bring your appetite. The food is delicious! The staff were friendly and professional. The food came out fairly fast even though it was very busy. The bathrooms were smaller than expected but clean. If you never been here before I highly recommend it! Thanks for the great experience!

Texas Roadhouse always seems like a good “go-to”, but this time I was slightly disappointed. We went specifically to try the chicken fried chicken instead of our usual steak meal. Unfortunately, the chicken was very over seasoned and salty. The fried pickles were delicious as always and you can’t go wrong with their rolls but I won’t be back for the chicken fried chicken.
Great wait staff. I got the steak bits my fiance got the ribeye with the ribs. Their BBQ sauce is super tasty. The steaks were cooked as requested and very tender. I got mine medium and it was still tender. Biscuits and blooming onion were all on point. They have fun margaritas too. Also a great place to take the kiddos. No complaints at all.
