I was there for the first time during FoCoMX this past weekend and really enjoyed everything about this place. INCLUDING the fabulous band The Rattle Caps! Super fun place to hang out!
Surfside 7 is possibly the coolest hole in the wall bar in town. Live bands, great art, and cool bartenders are why we go back.

We visited Surfside 7 tonight to hear one of our favorite bands. It was a little frustrating that they advertise a variety of start times on social media and then the opener didn't start till 9:30. They don't have much seating available. The vibe in the bar was very perplexing thanks to the eclectic decor. We loved the music but the sound system could also have been better...not super good quality.

Worst service,terrible food..definitely miss the old Surfside where you waited at the counter for your order, instead of dealing with horrible bartenders took my money plus tip never put in my order in kept walking by my table serving people that came way after us.when I asked about our pizzas she'd get mean and say does this look like your order(did that twice) .after an hour we took our receipt to the new bartender that was releaving the girls shift, he said she never put in my order, he said would be another 8 minutes..heard the heavyset bartender laughing to other one how she did something to someone's food..our food came out to the table the fries were so salted we couldn't eat them, and the pizza was old and hard.
