Stopped by for a latte to go. En route down I-25 took a sip and was simply stunned by how good it was. Took another, same thing. It's not my usual go-to dark-roast espresso bean, but such a delicious blend of coffee flavors that it's now what I look for in my latte. Unlikely to find it elsewhere, I fear, but will keep searching because it was just so good. If you have a chance, try one. It may simply be unbeatable.
Starry night is one of my favorite go-to coffee shops in town! Excellent cakes and they now sell a cold brew concentrate to use at home that is amazing!
Coffee here is amazing, top notch. There is zero hurry to get that coffee to you though. I swear this place could benefit from a couple more people working is all, the line takes foreeeeeever. When I go to get coffee I don’t want to wait 20 minutes. Of all things I don’t want to wait for coffee, I need it asap please. If you can get in there when it’s empty that’s a great time. Coffee is great though. Location is awesome, very cozy spot.
I spent over a hundred hours at starry night while writing my thesis back in 2012 so I feel confident leaving this review (I've been back many times since)!They have good coffee as any coffee shop should. However they also have a ton of other amazing things on the menu worth checking out. Giant slices of decadent home made cake? Parisian lemonade and peach/apricot smoothies? Incredible paninis and sandwiches with beet salads and fresh arugula and goat cheese salads?It's not just a spot to sip a coffee-- I totally recommend it for a bite. Very good day date spot.
The best coffee shop in Old Town. The staff is inviting and helpful - they aren’t intimidating to order from while still being extremely knowledgeable. Their baristas also pay close attention to detail (the milk texture of my cortado was immaculate) and their espresso is well balanced and flavorful. Come here for great service, atmosphere and most importantly - coffee!! ☕️
Nice little place. Coffee was good, I got the Grilled Spinach Artichoke and was awesome (sorry no picture it was so good, no time for pictures). Place wasn't that full, I got a good table to work a little bit while eating and having two coffees. They have convenient outlets fort most of the tables and places. Wifi wasn't too reliable. I was off 2 times and the last stayed disconnected from internet. May be they wanted me to leave hahaa. Anyway. Great place, I will be coming back for sure!
There's definitely magic at work with the espresso here, not only does it help with the creative inclinations, what the flavor is warm, comforting, and sophisticated, with very little bitterness. The location itself is very idyllic, with the pressed tin ceilings lending an air of retro grace. The service was conciliatory, patient, and kind, and much appreciated.
Espresso was bold, very good roast. Not many snacks but cool place. Parking can be tough because it's a busy area but work the search for parking.
Met a friend for coffee! A cute little place. The service was quick and there was lots of seating for talking and working. I tried the Espresso con Panna and enjoyed it!
Starry Night makes fantastic coffee, they have friendly staff and make really fine desserts. We often come here after a dinner in Old Town to get a latte and share a dessert, as the portions are generous. Only thing missing is the Van Gogh starry night mural, hoping that comes back!
