Delicious food and great service! This is my favorite Indian restaurant in town. I recently went full vegan after growing up vegetarian and Star of India has tons of options for me and my gluten free friends. They also have a great deal for carryout!
Staff was extremely pushy on ordering buffet. Buffet choices are very minimal. Had to insist on ordering a menu item multiple times. The meatball curry from the buffet tasted like Italian meatballs in marinara sauce (not very authentic). Other food was bland. When we got our bill, it was incorrect and the total was $6 over what it should’ve been. Staff sharing the floor was confusing and seemed unnecessary. Very disappointed
Lunch buffet! Need I say more? Seriously, the food here is OUTSTANDING, & the staff are excellent - so friendly. Not sure if you'll like Indian? At Star of India, I promise you'll find something for every taste. It's flavorful, but not toooo spicy. Try them!

Staff was very friendly, vibe was great! the whole place was clean and nice, food was great, hot and fresh not too spicy at all I loved the Lassi smoothie. will come back again!
It is far from authentic. It's not bad food and it's reasonably priced for lunch but again very far from authentic. It's like if Wendy's or maybe McDonald's tried to make Indian food without consulting anyone from India. Probably won't go back there is a better place down Drake.
I got the mixed tandoori and it was very dry and flavorless. I didn't even want to eat it without sauce so I ordered a $7 side of tikka masala sauce just to get it down. Probably the worst Indian food I've ever had. On top of that it was $38 including tip for the meal and sauce with no drinks or sides. For $38 you can do a lot better in Fort Collins.
Ok, Star of India does not disappoint.Let’s start with the service… hands down 30% tip for this level of service. Could not critique if I had to.The lychee mule cocktail is divine. Will def order again.All of our food was incredible. The butter chicken is a fan fav for a reason… BUT let’s talk about the lamb with with mango curry!!! Holy cow! My new fav Indian dish of all time! Tandoori is spot on and the rice… I order extra for later because it is perfection!Simply an exquisite experience.I appreciate all of the extra touches. Plating is stunning. The flowers in my cocktail just took it to a whole new level.*note.. if you didn’t know, grub hub and the like charge this local gem upwards of 37%! That’s robbery. If you don’t dine in, just call the store directly to order. They deserve their profit. Period.Thank you Star of India!!! Y’all are setting the bar so high and we love it!
