We really enjoyed our meals. We really didn't know what to expect. It is a sit down restaurant with really good food and really good service.I had the sultan combo. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the cauliflower and falafel. We will be going back. You get a lot of food for your money.
Food is delicious. Lentil soup is so good. Plate is so big.
I delivered this to a friend that had just flown in on a Sunday evening. It was one of few non-pizza places that delivered high quality food after 8pm on a Sunday. He scarfed it down! He loved the difference in the Pita bread, the fried cauliflower, the Turkish coffee and the list goes on. Definitely a quick and new favorite in Fort Collins which, comparing we come from Atlanta and Cleveland with tons of ethnic food -- but usually Lebanese or Greek -- that is really saying something. Jordan in the house!
Fantastic experience! Food was excellent. Well seasoned and fresh. Great atmosphere... Friendly & Kind customer service from ameer he was handling the whole dining room by himself great job ameer!!! Definitely a great place to dine. Don't hesitate to try this place. It does not disappoint
The food is so good. I got introduced to beef shwarma when i lived in the DC area and this brings back good memories.
We stopped by here for lunch. Parking is available in the back off the street. We started with some Arayis and Falafel.Arayis is kind of like a burger in between a crispy tortilla (Mediterranean quesadilla). The beef has a good flavor and a good starter. The falafel was crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. Would recommend cutting them in half and dipping them in the sauce. My daughter started with a fruit smoothie and the beef swarma is mild enough she did eat quite a fair amount of it.The portions are quite large which I means I'll enjoy the left overs later in the week.My wife had the chicken swarma which was good although had a lot of garlic. Both swarma dishes came with huge helpings of rice and also a salad.I had the gyro plate which has a good amount of beef and lamb and the accompanying sauce is great. The same rice and salad came with the gyro.We finished off the meal with walnut baklava which is great to have fresh. It's the first time it hasn't been dry and they serve it warm with a little syrup over top.We also had a banana bliss which I'd recommend if you like bananas.Overall a very good lunch with big portions that you'll definitely have left overs. If you want to try Mediterranean food definitely give it a try.
Fresh ingredients, generous proportions, and great service. Tried the kofta kabob, favs dish and black tea ...
Me and my children think Petra grill is phenomenal. We love the food & the service from amer!! the vibe and decor. Amer makes you feel so welcome, you feel transported to another realm of the world with language, sights, smells and sounds. I simply adore the food and think it is a unique and wonderful experience to dine here. I highly recommend this restaurant. I suggest if it's a first time experience to order appetizers and one main dish. The servings are large, maybe this will give you a chance to try their deserts. You will not be disappointed! :)Thanks Petra grill!!!
Food is good but the dishes have a lot of rice with little meat.
My wife and I just celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary. The trip to Petra Grill was a planned event. For a couple of appetizers, some mint lemonade, and two lamb dinners (one shawarma and a lamb shank) and a tip, the total came to right under $100. Definitely an expensive meal, but for special occasions, this one is worth the price. We have lived overseas and gone to other Mediterranean & Middle Eastern style restaurants, but this is probably the best. The ambience was great, not busy, and the service was also fantastic. Our waiter was a son of the owner who is from Jordan and very friendly. If you want a classy, quality meal, go for a visit. The portions were large, the mint lemonade was freshly made, and did I mention the mint lemonade yet!? LOL
