Excellent croissants, although a bit pricey so not a daily habit kind of place. Great spaces, inside and out, to sit and enjoy a croissant and watch the world drift by in Old Town Ft. Collins. Coffee tasted a bit burnt, but that seems to be the standard for several of the coffee shops in the area so that may be the preferred Ft Collins flavor.
Local bakery
Super cute coffee shop in old town. Its very busy so ordering does take a bit.
I used to come here all the time in college ! My favorite is the toast with the seasonal jam - so hearty and delicious:) never overly sweet. Amazing coffee drinks and tea as well ! I miss living near this bakery :)
Stopped in just before closing for a snack. Coffee was paper cup only due to closing time, so passed on that. We got a cheese roll and a pear chai scone.I was excited for the scone but unfortunately it was under baked and not crunchy or dry enough. If you pushed your thumb to the inside, it did not bounce back or resist. The cheese roll however was perfect, crunchy outside and soft but firmly baked through inside.I wish I’d say I’d return, but the underbaked scone makes me hesitant.
Little Bird Bakery is my friend’s favorite Old Town place for morning coffee and a pastry. This tempted me so we stopped in for a late morning snack on my first visit here. It’s a friendly place with tables inside and outside. The baked goods on display offered lots of choices. We selected a chocolate croissant, a pecan sandy cookie and a slice of mushroom quiche. Every bite of our shared “snack” items was super good. I’m glad we stopped at the Little Bird Bakery.
On an overcast day in old town, this place is it on all fronts. The hot tea was carefully made, the quiche of the day hit the spot with all flavors, texture, and overall taste, and the panna cotta was something I never had before, but will make sure to get again (as well as everything I got). The homemade sourdough bread with a touch of wheat in it was soft and warm to the palette. This place really has it going on in the corner of old town with the food, beverage, and the awesomeness of the staff with the attention to you the customer and all they do to serve the customer. Definitely will return!
Not a French patesrie. Their name and advertisement is fooling to a customer who has not been to France and knows the food, language and culture. Staff is rude to new customers. Chocolate torte was not the correct recipe so it was not worth the money. They expect customers to serve themselves as if we are in an open buffet. Asking for a glass of water was an imposition. Asking for a cappuccino was subsitited by decaf late that didn't taste good. The quiche tasted ok.
Love this place. Their baked goods, soup, quiche, toast and coffee is all superb. Everyone's friendly. A line out the door is a sure sign of a quality cafe.
Loved this small coffee/ cafe. Seems MANY people love it. Coffee was great food ( quiche is what I had) also good and a hood variety of gluten free. The line going through this coffee shop never ended. The seating is very limited, worth a check out and I will return durining warmer weather for to go items.
