Traveling from Iowa, we always make sure to stop at LaMars. They are delicious!Old fashion and chocolate long john with the white fluff are my favorites!
I'm a donut connoisseur. They are my favorite. Unfortunately this donut wasn't 5 star worthy. The service was fantastic both times I went. The donuts are super fresh which is a great but the actual taste of the donuts was quite bland. The flavor comes from the icing itself. If they could improve their batter recipe they would be perfect. Now if you're not a self proclaimed donut connoisseur like myself you will most likely love these donuts.
I am a donut connoisseur and these were very, very good. I'd say 4.5/5, as some of the flavors were delicious (maple iced, powdered) while others did not hit the mark (double-chocolate raised). Someone else picked them up so I cannot comment on the service. Overall, the better of the two donut places I went to while in Fort Collins.
There is a great variety and they have both yeast and cake doughnuts, so that's great. The blueberry cake doughnuts were excellent. The chocolate ones were not quite as good, but were still ok. The yeast chocolate iced ones were nice and airy. Pretty good doughnuts.
FREE DONUT all day! I recommend the old fashion donut because they are soft, cakey, and smothered in amazing vanilla glaze. Celebrate National Donut Day by stopping by your local LaMar's. They even have a grab and go table with no lines for customers who are in a rush.
Had my first experience at Lamar’s because I’ve heard good things about this place. However, it was disappointing. 3 donuts and a coffee cost us $14 which was pricey and we didn’t really care for the donuts. I’ve had better ones at king soopers. However, the customer service was good.
What a fine selection and good coffee. As a former cop, I know donuts, and these please me every time. My co-workers were very happy I brought a big box of them to the office.
Excellent donuts but a bit over priced
LaMar's is a really lovely little place that's really good at what it does. Decent coffee with a price to match, and I'm told the donuts are great, and they always look fresh.Unfortunately there are no gluten free options so I can't confirm. Sometimes the tables are a little messy, but that's because there are always customers there!
I always love the donuts. They're always fresh, however, this morning the donut holes were either old or overcooked ? also I had placed my order online. Showed up at the designated time and they hadn't even noticed I had placed the order. Huge bummer.
