This place is authentic and so good. Their menu also has a great selection and I'm excited to return to try other things! My favorite restaurant in Fort Collins!
If you have not tried Khon Thai you have not tried the best Thai restaurant in Fort Collins. We have lived in Fort Collins over eight years and we have yet to find a good Thai restaurant until now! What you read below is about two weeks before we just ate again indoors.....This time as the first time, unbelievable, unbelievable!! This was our second time eating indoors at Khon Thai. The first time we ate inside. I had a Massaman with beef and my partner had the Pad Thai. Both were delicious! The second time we ordered something to go. We ordered the chicken Satay and drunken noodles with beef. Both of these dishes the meats were over cooked unfortunately. Also, there was not much beef in the drunken noodle or sauce. The second time we eat indoors, third time eating Khon food. We started off with a cheese wonton appetizer. I had drunken noodles with beef number three heat, and my wife had the Pad se-sw chicken number two heat. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection!! Before we ordered, the third time, we spoke with the owner/chef Wipa Who had saw our second post and totally wanted to correct any errors. Evidently a new chef had been in place at the time of our second order. As I mentioned above our second indoors was awesome, so delicious!!! You will be doing yourself a disservice if you not try Khon Thai if you love Thai.
The food was amazing. The dishes were cooked perfectly and so flavorful, and the portion size was decent. The boba slushes were fantastic, full of flavor and came in cute wine glasses. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very pleased with our first visit.We ordered chicken tom yum and tom kha soup, chicken egg rolls, drunken noodles, general chicken, mango boba slush with strawberry popping, and strawberry boba slush with lychee popping. I'd highly recommend all of them. Will definitely be visiting again!
Their food was very scrumptious. I had takeout and dine-in at Khon Thai Restaurant. Every time I had their food, I was impressed how yummy it was. Last Saturday night when my friend and I were there for dinner, the restaurant was full. Seems like they were short staffed because many customers wanted to enjoy a meal there. When I was at the table eating my happy family meal, they kept bringing out to-go orders and dishes for other tables. This is how popular they are. Price is reasonable. If you would like to have some great Thai food, this is the place you must go in town.
Love this place!! We ordered take out and it was fast and easy. I could really tell this place was authentic and the food blew me away. Very reasonably priced and really nice sized portions. The best part was the deal that if you get three entrees, you get chicken egg rolls for free. Can’t wait to come back and try more entrees because this place was good!!!!
First time there and it was worth it!! Great food and friendly staff!! Highly recommend!!
The food here is easily the best thai in FoCo right now. I have eaten at thai restaurants in almost every city i have been to where they were available, and I can say thats a fairly extensive list, and this is one of the better ones. As with most places in this town they have some dishes you may not like, and from time to time its not as good as the last, but 90% of the time the food is very good, thai hot is fairly hot, yet I feel it used to be hotter, the noodles are on point, and I hade one of the best panang curry I've had in a long time. You can truly tell the owners are in it to win. The only reason I dropped a star was because of staffing. It takes a long time to get food on even days that should not be that busy and trying to get someone to answer the phone Thursday through Saturday at dinner time is almost impossible sometimes. I have called 30 times before in a row with no answer and decided to go with a different option. I would HIGHLY recommend it though.
Hands down the best Thai food we’ve had for years. We cannot wait to return and try more. My daughter said the Pad Thai was the best she’s ever had. The service was amazing considering how busy they were. The wait did not bother us at all- so well worth it.
Really great food, great price as well. We went with 4 people and got to share so many dishes, came out with a food coma & baby. Only issue with the restaurant is the location. Not close to downtown but 10/10 worth it to come out of your way to try the food.
Wow! This place was was amazing. Tried it for the 1st time on a Sunday afternoon. Got the fried tofu Thai basil stir fry, tom kah soup and veggie egg rolls. The fried tofu was perfectly cooked and so was the rice. Delicious sauces too. Going to make this place a regular.
