So my fiance is sick and all she wanted was her favorite soup from Jason's. So I drove from Greeley to Fort Collins to pick up dinner. I ordered online to pickup at 5:00. When I got there I called and let them know I was there to pick it up, guy on the phone was rude about the fact that my order wasn't ready. 20 minutes later they brought my order out, without my drink. I had to remind him about it.The soup was great, sandwiches awesome and the Mac and cheese was surprisingly better than expected. But the service could really use some work. You cannot depend on good food alone to give the customers a good experience. And we didn't get the pickles that are supposed to come with our sandwiches... ?♂️
Only recently tried the food here and so surprised I hadn't really heard about it. Most everything I've tried now was been delicious. Don't get me wrong, nothing was bad I just had a salad with too much cheese for my taste and pasta that was a small portion for the price, imo. But the pasta was great, the chicken salad sandwich is so so good, like none I've ever tasted before, and even the soup was lick your bowl good! I will continue to try their different selections. Do try the strawberry shortcake, so light and lovely.
Okay, I'm going to go ahead and give it a right down the middle review here. And usually I wouldn't even bother leaving a less than favorable review, but in 40 years of going out to eat, I have NEVER left food on the table before today, even if it was only to take home to my dog. But I love my dog more than my last meal here, so I left it right there. Now, this is only the third time that I have been to this establishment, but after today I am pretty sure that it is also the last time. The first two times that I went, they had this special grilled panini with avocado on their specials board, and it was really very tasty. Nothing but good things to say about that panini. But when I went in today, that special was gone, so I just went with a basic combo of a pastrami on marbled rye and a cup of beef chili with cheese. Now I won't bore you with extended details here, but I left everything on the table because I got through about two bites of each item that ordered, and that sandwich, tasted like someone had just popped out it out of a wrapper from a gas station refrigerator. And that chili? You could almost actually taste the Hormel label from the can which I KNOW that it came from. You could definately taste the can itself. And as I said, I have NEVER left food on the table ANYWHERE that I have ever eaten before... until today. That wasn't even worth packing up for the dog.So I'm giving this place an average rating because I've now had two different meals there, and one was very good, and the other was very NOT. So just know going in that this place seems to have a very hit or very miss menu.Service was good and the staff has always been polite every time that I've been in. And they have free soft serve ice cream if you're dining in.
I come here for the salad bar and the muffaletta sandwich. This sandwich is excellent. If you haven't tried one yet, I recommend it. Don't be put off by the menu saying it's a 1/4 sandwich. It's still a large portion. You can't find salad bars any more, but Jason's Deli has a great one. Everything is fresh and delicious. I'm not a fan of the single trip rule now, but they do at least give you a rather large plate to use at the salad bar.
We usually love this place and the nutty salad is amazing! However the customer service was absolutely horrible today. We ordered for delivery and did not get our full order. When we contacted Jason's Deli the kid on the line was unapologetic and rude. He offered no solutions to the problem and said his manager was "super busy". It takes a lot to write a bad review for me but the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service was appalling today. I'm working on hopefully getting a refund through the delivery service however it is not looking good. I have a completely different outlook on Jason's Deli today.
My first experience: I came in and order the chipotle chicken and avocado panini and couldn't resist the salad bar. All my food was amazing, so I will return. I am making this complaint though. The woman who took my order was not happy and seemed to be in another world. I saw a man behind her at the counter and he asked her something while she was helping me and he made a sarcastic gesture. I asked the girl if she was okay because he made me feel uncomfortable. The man then goes to another employee working the food line and after they exchanged words she lets out a grunt and he threw his hands in the air. I asked if he was the manager and she said yes. No one was happy to be at work and it showed. No one smiled the entire time I was there. They are hiring (GO FIGURE). I hope the owner sees this review and checks on the employees. I would say borderline abuse.
Great tasting, fresh food!! Clean and nice service. What more could you want? Great job Jason's Deli!!
Still as bad since the last time! The place is Always dirty and the booths are still I've been to other JD and they are immaculate. Now you only get a one trip to the salad bar so I hope you like your chocolate pudding with your salad.
We have been going here for years. Great food selection and salad bar. You can't bgo wrong if your in the mood for a great sandwich.
I came to Jason's deli for the 2nd time! The people are always wonderful and the service great! However, my grilled cheese was a tad more crispy than I'd want & the tomatoe soup was super sweet (it still tasted good) just too sweet for my taste!
