First off, parking is horrible. There are literally no places to park. Their curbside pickup is a joke. You call the store and no one answers. Once I got inside the store, I was told that they gave my order to someone else and that I would have to wait for the order to be re-made. Seriously! I didn’t even get an apology. Why would they give out an order to someone without verifying their identity! Once I finally got my order I was very disappointed. For the price, I was expecting a decent size cookie. This was not the case at all. This was the first and last time that I will visit this place.
chick refused to deliver up to a hotel room and just left our cookies at the front desk without talking to the clerk. the cookies we got tonight weren't even fresh, they were hot around the outside edges like they had been microwaved. still disappointed I tipped 20% for my cookies to be abandoned on a counter for anyone to pick up. seems like this place is scared of hotels because no other delivery service in town has had a problem delivering directly to my hotel room. had a similar experience a few years ago at the same location when a driver just sat outside my house, texted me, waited 5 minutes, then left and told me they cancelled my order. I think the management is bad and doesn't train people. doordashing a pack of easybake from wal-mart is just as expensive as getting cold cookies from these guys.
Very disappointing. Ordered cookies 2.5 hours ago and never got the cookies. Called after the 2 hr mark and they said their internet was down and they would get the cookies out to us ASAP. Well. We still have no cookies….
We waited over 2 hours to get our cookies. After we received them we didn't even get the correct order. Thankfully insomnia reimbursed us, but I'm not sure it's worth returning.
Cookies are wonderful, but way overpriced. Also, the parking situation is less than desirable and the staff was a little creepy toward my 16 year old daughter when we went in there last time. I/we were uncomfortable to the point that I told her she is never permitted to go there without an adult chaperone
Love the Staff Here, So happy to find this place. Definitely a must stop anytime your close to Terre Haute.
It took us over 2 hours to receive a messed up order. After waiting 30min and not being assigned a driver, we called and were told it was going to take 45min for them to be baked. We waited another hour and tried calling, no one picked up. Our order finally was delivered two hours after ordering and it was wrong. How do you mess up an order of 6 cookies? We tried calling again and once again, no one picked up. The cookies we did eat were dry and $6 ice cream is laughably small.Maybe try selling dog treats. Our dog loved the dried out peanut butter chip cookie.
I didn't catch the guys' name but the guy working tonight 5/6/22 was all by himself and handling it well. There were so many people but he still kept an upbeat attitude. Hopefully he can get some help though, no one deserves to work alone!
Everytime I seem to call this particular location they never have any more Superman ice cream left but people have literally told me they had it the day before. Don’t waste your time calling cause they will lie.
My favorite thing about Insomnia is that there’s always something new to try! They always have new and different seasonal flavors in both ice cream and cookies. The staff is nice, the store is clean and very cute, and of course they’re open late. It’s also worth noting they’re cash only. I always know I can find something at insomnia after a long day!
