Went to Illegal Pete's for trivia night. The food was more than edible but not good enough for me to come back on a regular night. The bar was slow at times with only one person doing the work. Trivia was great especially using digital answering.
Illegal Pete's is a fun spot for tacos, burritos, and drinks. They have a very friendly atmosphere, mostly a college crowd, but still family friendly. The fish burritos are delicious, but you can't really go wrong. The pablono pesto quesadilla is really great, that's one of the favorites for sure.
My daughter loves going to this place every Friday for their quesadillas. The tacos are really good and filling.
Interesting concept, on one side is a bar and other is food court style area where you order.They also have an upstairs which I think includes an open roof top. Bar has some craft locals and big breweries as well. Lots of seating as well.
This is my favorite spot. Tara is the best bartender I have ever had, she is the perfect combination of attentive yet allusive that you could as for. If you want a bartender that you can talk to, yet go about your business with, this is the place for you. Five stars. You are the best Tara.Thank you for being my safe space.
Good food, Great rooftop and excellent bartender who was super nice. Had to subtract one star because the guy putting your food together was a little rude. It's going to be all right. People are annoying but you've got to be chill in a place like this. We will definitely be back because everyone has a bad day! If it's a sunny day, hit the rooftop up and the stone lager is a perfect match for the Tex-Mex food as is the house beer that they partnered with great divide to have. Enjoy!

Tried this place for the first time. Reminds me of either Cafe Rio or Chipotle but more hard core. Will definitely have to try the bar some other time. Burrito bowl was delicious!
Decent Mexican food for the area. I would recommend the shredded beef over all other proteins and the queso dip over everything else. They do mix the burrito ingredients together, which makes each bite a good one. It does have a very cool atmosphere as it is a hybrid fast-casual dining and full bar.
I used to love illegal petes, and got their shredded pork tacos all the time. Until yesterday I ordered them and got this piece of meat in there. It looks nothing like shredded pork and smelled so gross I threw away all of my food. Definitely done eating here
