Super fair pricing and the food is as good as you make it :D they have a lot of options to add to a variety of noodles and they have a TON of sauces :O
My uncle invited me to lunch last week & told me to choose the restaurant. I decided on Huhot, because it had been quite sometime that I had been there years as a matter a fact. So I was so happy because I have always had such a great dining experience there. When we walked in all was so different. I dont know if the restaurant has changed management or what has happend, but it was not a pleasant surprise. I thought I'd give them the benefit of a doubt and continue on. So now you pay prior to getting your plate. So we were handed our bowl & fork. Went over to the meat table and two of the pans were practically empty with the exception of a few scraps. All of the meats were a mess & no one was over to clean them up or re stock. The vegetable table was in disarray everything was a mess. After getting passed all that we get to the cooking area, I couldn't help but to notice the cooks did not have hair nets or hats or even tied their hair back & one had very long hair and kept flipping it all around. We got our food proceeded to our table & we sat over by the drink station. The floor in front of the station was all sticky & wet. The area was all wet with soda & water. The straw wrappers all over the place, the ice cream machine broken etc. So I sat down to eat & took a couple of bites & look down at my food & I see a hair, I go to pull it out to show someone & I find a second one. They were extremely long. I couldn't wait to get out. I dont think ill be going back.
Ate there for lunch. A lot of options on buffet. A hot lunch on a cold day blends very well. I filled up 2 bowls of what I wanted to eat and a separate bowl for sauce. Surprisingly, the grilling team added my sauce right when they started to grill my 2 filled bowls. Sauces should be added at the end of grilling my meats and veggies.Turned out too blend with no flavors and did not taste too good. I was disappointed. So 2 *s.If youre planning on visiting, I'd remind them of adding sauces later to enjoy the flavors. Good luck ppl.
First trash experience I've had at this location. They've decided not to give you a fork with your cups when you first pay. Instead you have to get them after your food is cooked... which would have been fine, but the guy in front of me took the last one. I asked the lady up front after she finished ringing someone up and told me she'd get clean forks in just a moment... Then she proceeded to checkout 3 more groups while the girlfriend, her daughter, and I stood there waiting as our food got cold. I then asked one of the other employees walking past and he told me if I needed utensils to grab some chopsticks behind the the cashier. While I can certainly use chopsticks, they cannot. Also, I had a plate of sauce drenched crab... nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks. After a total of ten minutes waiting I grabbed three sets of chopsticks because clearly nobody who works here cares. After the three of us struggled to eat with chopsticks for another 10 minutes, I hailed another employee walking past and asked for three forks. They never returned. After returning to line and getting a second bowl, I got to the end and there were two forks. I grabbed both and sat down so we could finally eat a bowl of hot food. When fished I purposely set the forks aside and stacked the plates so they could be taken and the forks left. Returned after our third bowl and they took the forks from the other side of the table where I put them. I walked back up to the grill to ask for forks AGAIN, this time the cashier was just on her phone playing some game and she stomped off like I was asking the world of her. Nah. I'm out. And honestly, I won't be back. Trash customer service. Also... the manager might wanna talk to their employees. There's clearly some drama going on. One employee told another one to F off at the grill and everytime one walked past our table they were stomping and talking smack about another employee. Fix yourselves. Also, what is this McDonald's? Why is your ice cream machine broke? Ugh.
Our first time coming here for years and we're disappointed in the new atmosphere. It doesn't seem as intimate and classy as it was before. It's all serve yourself and it doesn't feel the same. The food is still amazing but not what we were expecting since it's changed so much. Not a good place for a date night. Might not come back because of that.
HuHot is one of the best restaurants I've been to. Me and my boyfriend always go here and their steak with any sauce you pick is to die for. No matter what combination of food you want with the sauce that you want, you'll never be disappointed. It's all you can eat too for not too much, money wise. They also have these chow mein sticks that are so good with the meal as well, and free ice cream with your grill meal. They cook it right in front of you, which I've never experienced until I've gone there. Such an amazing food place.
Good food. The cooks were rude when cooking our food. The host was great. Only one drink machine, and it was out of most of the drink options.

Once you're loaded up with your selections, you deliver them to the team at the grill. Your food is dumped into a large circular flat-top where you get to watch as the cooking team cooks, delivers, cleans, and cooks again in a seamless and coordinated partnership. It was fun to watch them at work, andmy food was so fresh, hot and delicious! I went back for seconds and thirds, and they were courteous and pleasant every time.The reason I'm giving four stars is because at times, some of the containers of food ran empty, plus they are lacking in ambience (the whole place was full of brightly colored vinal booths), and the floors could have been a bit cleaner. But it's a great place to eat a lot of food; as healthy as you choose, and with friendly staff.We will definitely go back.
Half the stuff for twice the price and terrible ingredients. I didn't know anyone could screw Mongolian up this much - hope it burns to the ground. 5 stars so they don't delete the review like cowards.
No one (staff or patrons) was wearing a mask, we watched the dishwasher put clean forks in her hands with no gloves, push them down with her bare fingers. Then she goes and wipes off a condiments bar, bare handed again, then, yup, you guessed it, right back to grabbing forks by the tines and shoving them in a container. Foos areas were messy, very under stocked, people putting spoons in everything. Gross.
