The bagels are always good but the online ordering here is more inconvenient than just going in and waiting. The bagels normally come out one time but the drinks take forever, as in they don’t even know you ordered one. This has been a consistent issue whenever I order here.

While I usually love Gibs, today I witnessed one of their workers treat a customer in a horrible way. Instead of trying to help this customer and make her day and experience better, she was rude towards her and did nothing to help. Not only that, but this worker continued by talking behind the customers back to her coworkers. That is not the way to be treating your customers and it really rubbed me in the wrong way.

The best bagel in town! The food and coffee are good and they usually get my order right. Going less often as prices climb.

New York Bagels HAHAHAHAHAHA! These are equivalent to Thomas bagels you buy in a store. Dry, not hard on the outside, let me please let everybody know here do NOT ever come to New York with the expectation that we make bagels this way, we make them exactly the opposite. Such a sad excuse of a bagel and to have the gall to call them “NY Bagels”, that is blasphemous to my people. I highly suggest you rename your business. You guys don’t even carry the types of flavors every single New York bagel shop has. Egg everything? Poppie? Come on now. If I could give this place zero stars I would every single day of the week.

My husband and I have always loved gibs. Good food that isn’t too expensive. And the atmosphere is usually pretty nice. A few months back I inquired about the staff dress code. They claimed that it was modest. Today, I went in with my two young boys. One girl was wearing a shirt and flannel that covered any shorts she may have been wearing. Another was wearing a skirt so short that if she bent over you could see everything. I understand that’s the fashion for young women these days, but it’s your work place. Gibs has gone from a family friendly, enjoyable bagel shop to a place that seems trashy and should be labeled as 16 and over. DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE.

Great music and coffee, cute nostalgic atmosphere. Huge selection of bagels. Can't comment on the quality though they look good. Staff are mostly cheerful and accommodating.Table service could use a little more care as I had to wipe mine down before I and my guest used it. I noticed most of the tables had crumbs or coffee rings on them that day, too. May have just been an off day for them.

This is my go to place for breakfast, typically before I head out to film mountain lions. The service, food and atmosphere are all top notch. I purchased one of the first ten bagels when they opened. I was hooked. I bought one of their coffee mugs in their first year of operation.Several years later, Gib was manning the cash register and saw that all the lettering was worn off my mug. He said, "Breakfast is on us, you get a free mug and I'm having breakfast with you." He's a wise businessman. That's the kind of stuff that results in loyal customers. Josh and his team have carried on the great customer service. Five stars are not enough.

Excellent bagels!! Nice and chewy center with a crispy crust, just like our favorites back in Jersey, but with so many different and unique options! Their parm spinach bagel with bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese.. incredible. I've never seen that specific flavor of bagel before and couldn't pass it up. Very sweet and helpful staff. We'll be back!

I have been going to Gib's for too many years to count (since they opened the original location) and hate to post this review. The last several months the quality of service has gone down quite a bit, and this latest experience let me to review. When I went to pick up an online order last Sunday morning, I walked in and previously my order was almost always ready. It was not this time, which isn't a big concern since I know many businesses are having issues with staffing right now. However, the biggest issue was the music. It was extremely loud and profane, and when I looked closer I noticed that the speaker wasn't in the back-room like I assumed, but was pointed out towards the dining area. People couldn't hear when their name was called, and if I was there with my young kid I would have had to leave because of the constant profanity. The workers obviously didn't care and just kept on with their day. I am not against profanity in music at all (I have plenty in my playlists) but the volume and how it was aimed at the customers makes me believe that the employee's didn't care or didn't want us there. In the future, I will likely order less from here. And once things are a little more conducive to in-person dining there is no way I will bring my family there. As for the bagels, they are about the same as they have been for the last 15 years- pretty good, not great.

This place is so fire! The breakfast bagels are literally always on point and super good! The balboa is super good too.! Staff is definitely easy to work with and very friendly! Love the atmosphere inside! You have to give them a try!
