Well, yum! We had brunch. I had huevos rancheros with green chili and it was perfect. The green chili has the perfect amount of spice, not too hot. My companion had the small size hash brown veggie bowl with sausage gravy and an egg. She was pleased but wanted toast, which isn't included. We got a cinnamon roll to share instead. Excellent choice!
Longer wait than promised by 10 minutes, but good food. Only other issue was hot omelette but cool hash browns. Delicious home made jam, reasonable prices, and wonderful server!

Man I really wanted to like this place since it has some great reviews online and had some cool items on its menu but that was not the case. I really wish I listened to the most recent review on yelp because it summarized our visit perfectly. "The food was completely flavorless" it was almost crazy how much the food lacked flavor. I was almost worried that I COVID or something taking my sense of smell and taste away but when we had lunch at home that was not the case.
Only reason I gave it a two star was my son’s steak was pretty good. Rest of food is tasteless, like the other reviewer wrote. Ordered the fried steak and it came out like a burger patty pounded flat, breaded the hell out of it and then deep fried. It was pretty bad. Soup was supposed to be chicken rojo, but it’s a cup of red beans and corn in a thick sauce with no chicken. I had to ask if they gave me a side of beans instead of my soup.Will not recommend this place to anyone I like.

Food’s good, staff’s friendly, and everything is good. I just prefer breakfast places with a bit more character.
I don't eat breakfast often, but when I do, I usually go big. I don't believe I've ever left Doug's Day Diner disappointed. Generous portions of home cooked classic breakfast staples. Highly recommend the fried biscuits and sausage gravy. Excellent pancakes cooked just right and good grief, the breakfast burritos are ginormous.The staff has always been knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly.Highly recommend Doug's.
Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Waitress was a joy to have. There is something for everyone on the menu. They were so accommodating with special requests. Reasonably priced food. Portions are large and filling.
Doug's just been a solid choice for both breakfast and lunch food. Food quality is great, and this service is usually above par. Great place for casual business meeting or a family brunch.
