After reconsideration, food was good, atmosphere was enjoyable and did I say the food was excellent!
Very blah for barbecue, There is definitely better barbecue places in Fort Collins.
Thought a bit out of the way location wise, we had a very good dining experience. I love any kind of BBQ so I'm not too picky - but food was very good. Nothing fancy in decor and layout - just line up, order and they bring you a tray of food - by a very friendly staff. Food was in generous portions - which could be easily shared between two people or leftovers for another meal. Felt like we got good value for the price. Great place to bring kids as you don't have to worry about them making a mess - each table has plenty of papertowels to manage the mess. All in all - we enjoyed the experience.
I made the mistake of ordering take out here right after they opened for the day. Both meats seemed to have been leftovers from yesterday. This is not necessarily bad, but in my case this meant both meats were very dry and tough. Disappointing to pay $20 for lunch and then have to really struggle to chew dried up meat.(Update) Dickey's reached out to me to address my experience which I appreciate. I have enjoyed their food in the past and will try them again soon.

I have ordered from this place before. They can never get my order right. Today was my birthday. We spent over a hundred dollars.. the manager forgot to put my wife's and her dad's food in the bag for delivery. He lied and said he was 100 percent sure he put it in the bag. All of our food was cold. The customer service was horrible. The owner of this place should be embarrassed.

Our 11 year old wanted bbq for his BD, so we choose Dickey's. Nice setting, dinner was ok, I had brisket sandwich, way to dry, kids liked the pulled pork. Timing on the fries with the sandwiches could have been better, got cold.
