This is my favorite restaurant in Fort Collins right now. They have a lot of unique options and the food is always good. I like the apple maple burger. The tater tots are the best I've ever had in my life. So crispy!
I was getting my oil changed and I asked a local where great food and drink was--I was not mislead!Thank you, Kylie, for your phenomenal customer service. I hope they treat you well @ DC Oakes, because you were the diamond of my dining experience. You helped me when I felt indecisive and I won't forget it. You took care of me.All that needs to be explained, really--is that you can have pork belly in your mac & cheese--among other tasty options.The brussel sprouts are actually CRISPY & delicious.Hatch chile creamed corn was wonderful.Delicious spicy mule beverage.Their patio was shaded, which made for perfect enjoyment in the summer evening. The customer service was beyond excellent.Will return, will recommend!!!
I came on a friday evening, the vibe inside is nice. It feels like a modern rustic with a hint of western vibe. Not like a cowboy western but a hint. I like the hanging lights in the main room and bar. & the pendants over the tables.I got a strawberry mojito and 2 apps. The calamari was one of the best i’ve had. it was crispy, and light. & i love the inclusion of the tentacles as they’re favorite part of calamari. the peppers were a nice touch and elevated the dish. The sauce was sensational perfect of spice, and creaminess and tangy.The Salmon Dip was delicious as well however, it was primarily a veggie platter and i definitely prefer chips & and dip. crackers were good. Should offer options for all chips and crackers.Patio would be nice with heatersThe waitstaff was superb, beyond average.Overall Food 4.5/5 (veggies)Service 4.8/5
What. A. FIND!!We made it for happy hour on a Monday and WOW were we impressed. First off the place is beautiful. Classy decor and they played great music the whole time we were there. The service was on point from start to finish. Everything came out so fast we didn’t have to wait for anything and our server, Lisa, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We tried several different drafts and they were all refreshing and delicious with some unique flavor combos. And the FOOD! We ordered mainly appetizers and everything was amazing. Everything was hot and seasoned perfectly. You can see and taste that when they say “made in house” they mean it. Nothing we got tasted frozen or I’ll prepared. Each dish was executed well (great job BOH). Loved to see a place this dialed in. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back soon.
Super fun atmosphere, super tasty food, service was meh. We had to remind our waitress more than once what all was included in our kid's meals, and it appeared she was aimlessly standing at the bar while we were waiting for simple items like water. Maybe I was missing something or just in a bad mood to begin with, maybe she was new. Either way, I wasn't impressed with the lack of communication and constant need to remind her what we ordered.Will we go again? Probably. It *was* really good food.
Shining review all around. Great atmosphere, we got a great spot, and the staff were great. Massive props to any wait staff that has to bring food up stair. Food was amazing and very unique. Finally decided on the bacon marmalade burger. Like nothing I've ever eaten before. We'll be back.
Great happy hour prices and super delicious food. We got the country poutine and it was so good. Huge portion. The Mac and cheese was. Cheesy and creamy. One of our favorite spots for sure.
Probably the worst salad I've ever had. Just butts of lettuce and little chunks of chicken that tasted like it came out of can.
Great beers, a wide variety of styles all fantastic. Some of the best burgers and fries I've had. Recommended!!
We've been coming to DC oaks since they opened. The food is always good and the beer is fresh and tasty! The servers are friendly and usually fairly attentive! They have a large chalkboard where you can pay beer forward to someone else, if you choose! Nice idea!
