I ordered the Calzone and it was delicious. The dough was perfect and it was packed full of ingredients. The price was very reasonable for how big it was. The only negative was that the red sauce was thin and kind of lacked personality. I also had a bite of the lasagna and if ricotta is your bag, it is chock full. So rich and delicious! The service was also good. We stopped in mid-afternoon right after the lunch rush and the waitress gave us great service. Overall it was a good experience.
My husband and I came in for our anniversary on Monday May 2, 2022. We had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was nearly empty. We were then greeted by the server after 10 minutes of sitting at our table. It then took an additional 25 minutes for our server to come back and take our food and drink order. The appetizers took 15 minutes to come when we only ordered a salad and garlic bread. The main course took an additional 15 minutes to come out.The food was average at best. The tomato sauce was watery and did not have much flavor, the noodles were cooked fine. My husband enjoyed his sampler plate but agreed about the sauce. We got a cannoli and the filling was curtailed and tasted expired. Overall it was not a great experience and we will not be coming back.
Everything we got was so delicious and totally love the cozy feel of the restaurant. Definitely want to come back to try more things on the menu!! I really loved the old house vibe of the restaurant!
Shrimp scampi florentine was delicious & shrimp was meaty. Husband had Chicken Gaetano, didn't finish his meal stating the chicken didn't taste right. He was sick all night vomiting. Bummer.
Camino's is a good classic Italian restaurant. The Italiano pizza was excellent! The avocado salad was a very healthy portion. The bread was warm and fresh. The highlight was the service. Shara (?) was awesome! Super friendly and fun. We felt like we made a friend.
While portion sizes seem to have declined and prices increased (though only slightly compared to most, and somewhat to be expected since the pandemic), Canino’s is still by far one of the best deals for delicious, home-cooked Italian food in Northern Colorado. As a carnivore, I still go for their vegetarian lasagna- hearty sauce and cheese galore- hands down the best I’ve had (tried the meat lasagna at another Italian place in Ft Collins that shall remain nameless *cough* Marchitelli’s *cough*, which was more expensive and only ‘meh’). Can’t recommend them enough, and try the spinach lasagna- you won’t regret it!!
I’ve liked this restaurant for a while now, their food and their service are always top notch but the reason I’d like to leave a review is because yesterday I was having a bad day and my wonderful partner wanted to cheer me up, and they know how much I love the crème brûlée here. Unfortunately, that’s not something you can easily order to-go because of how it’s made, but the cook came out of the kitchen and said he could take the ramekins as long as we brought them back (and we did). This was such a small act of kindness from this restaurant, but it really did cheer me up. (And the crème brûlée was perfect as always!) Thank you guys for serving your community, I’ll always be back for more :)
What a great evening. We were warmly greeted by a very friendly hostess. We did not have a reservation but were seated at a very nice upstair table. Our waitress was very professional and efficient. She explained the menu to us since this was our first visit. The food arrived promptly and was very hot. We had spaghetti and meatballs and a pizza. The food was great. We will be back the next time we are in Fort Collins, this was one of the best meals we have had in town with some very good restaurants.
Came here for lunch and it was amazing! Food was great and came out quite quickly. The service was very professional and it was a very calm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s hard to find food of this quality for such a good price. Will absolutely be coming here again.
My husband and I decided to have a date night, and we had an old gift card to this restaurant. We ate dinner then we handed our gift card over to pay. The person told us “we don’t take those, we stopped taking those 15 years ago.” Now I recognize the gift card was old prob like 7 years old, NOT 15. I have never had a restaurant no longer honor their gift cards. She didn’t offer a discount, or apologize. She just ran my credit card and handed it back. Honestly it wasn’t the fact they didn’t take it, it was more on how we were treated. Poor customer service.
