Fantastic food, great service and nice atmosphere! We had the maple bourbon glazed salmon, carbonara, and potato gnocchi, all of which were delicious! We celebrated a birthday here and ordered the flourless chocolate cake, which was amazing. Definitely the best Italian food in Fort Collins, highly recommend.

First time at Cacciatore at Heller's Kitchen, it was A-mazing, great food, staff and atmosphere! Haleigh provided the best service, thank you!

Great pizza and exceptional service from Meghan. This was our second visit and both were outstanding. We will be back, look forward to trying more on the menu.

Ok so I have eaten here many times over the years and had a great meal and good experience. Last night was different. They must be grossly understaffed because service was extremely slow and inattentive. It took forever to be acknowledged after being seated...or to get water, let alone our cocktails. Then when food was brought the salmon AND the chicken were way...not just a little...WAY overcooked. sHusband said he could hardly get it down but service was so slow he did,t want to send it back.

My husband and I went here tonight and the food was slightly below average. My husband ordered the gnocchi and I had the salmon on the squash ravioli. The gnocchi was pretty flavorless, and the salmon was dry. The raviolis were barely warm, and the side salads were nothing special. The drinks were also way too strong. For the prices I expected better quality and better tasting food. We love trying new places but I was disappointed in the experience. Oh and like others had mentioned there was a credit card fee we didn’t expect. Had we known there was a charge we would have brought cash to pay.

This place has some positives. The food is above average, the atmosphere is awesome especially outside. I had the Chicken Caccatori which was very good, my date had a ravioli dish that consisted of 5 small ravioli dish for $28. The side salad was very blah and average, little effort there. All in all, decent high quality but expensive especially the pasta dishes. They also charge a 4% fee for using a credit card which makes zero sense and has NO upside for them at all on the PR front.

I planned this dinner for my daughters graduation from CSU after having an amazing dinner a few months back. We had delicious food and great service however , the menu was priced for lunch and dinner on the same page. We inquired as to if the dinners were larger portions since pricing was at least 1/3 more … response, NO. Reason not separate menus …. Didn’t want to spend extra money on a separate menu for lunch and dinner ….????? Seriously? The meal was served and again , delicious and very good service. Bill came and there was a cc service charge of 7.00…… not even explained to us or offered to delete if paid in cash. We have dined all over the world and have never come across the menu issue before nor the “added “ money for cc charge. We know using Amex there is always a charge but never with other cc and if so we are forewarned.

For only for lunch. There is a menu that has both lunch and dinner prices do the same items. The lunch prices are 40% less than dinner. When asked we were told that they could not afford to print two menus AND That there was no difference between the amount of food. Ie, no lunch portion, just a higher price for the same thing 3 hours later. WTF? Oh the food was very good.

Called 3x to make a reservation and was asked to leave a message and they would get back with us. Spoke to one person and they took my information for a reservation and said they will get back to us. Called 2x more times and just got their answering machine. Ended up eating someplace else because of never hearing back to plan anything. Never did receive a call back to at least knowledge that I called ---- poor customer service. I hope the food is better than their CS...don't plan anything special because they don't care if you eat there or not.My calls were the week before Mother's day left messages, spoke with someone the Friday before Mother's day he wrote my information down and a lady in the background said she'll call me back. I left another message the Saturday before Mother's day...so sad haven't heard back from no one.

Not thrilled. The service and wine list were perfectly fine, but the food just wasn’t great. I got the gnocchi, which was served with shredded chicken that you’d expect from a $10 burrito. My wife wasn’t thrilled with her pasta plate either. Nothing was terrible…we just expected higher quality given the price and probably won’t return.
