I have found my new, all-time, Favorite Pizza!1 visit to this place is all it took to get me hooked.After a few recommendations from the waiter, I decided on the small “Prairie Pie” since I prefer a thinner crust.I can tell you that all of the ingredients had to have been super fresh as the pepperoni, Italian sausage & sliced mushrooms were down right amazing. The marinara sauce was not too bland nor overly zesty or overly potent of tomato flavoring; it was just plain perfect.Paired with an ice cold beverage, an awesome & friendly staff, clean restaurant and all-around good vibes, I’d recommend this place anytime!
Zzza was excellent. They offer a new and unique take on pizza. Make sure to try/use the honey, who knew…. Well obviously they did! Fun atmosphere, it was chilly when I was there so the doors weren’t open, but I can only imagine how awesome it is!We ordered three types of the their specialty pizzas, one from each category. Everyone enjoyed them very much. Only critique would be that the margarita pizza could have use a bit more sauce. And some fresh mozzarella.The Mac and cheese looked legit and the teenager loved it.The craft beverages were amazing and so creative!Thanks Beau Jo’s for a nice afternoon.
This is a unique place if you like pizza. You can choose from three different options when it comes to the hight of the dough, additionally there are two options when it comes to crust, one of them a healthier whole wheat agave option. You also have the option to build your pizza/pie yourself or choose from a selection of specialty pizzas/pies. As for toppings you have your typical meat, veggies, cheese options, unique was the selection of pizza sauces where you had a choice between regular tomato sauce and things like pesto, garlic, alfredo and others. I tried the hipster mountain pie with whole wheat crust and it was good, although it could've used a bit of seasoning, my favorite part by far was the crust actually. Overall I thought it was a good place if you like pizza!
Pizza was really good, doughy and soft chewy crust was a different approach but worked well. You get full faster with all the dough so order less. Great atmosphere and location to walk around after you eat.
One of our must stop restaurants whenever we’re in Colorado. The service is always good and the pizzas are some of the best. Really wish Carnitas was still a pizza topping option but plenty of other choices to build a great pie.
First time trying mountain crust with honey and added some red peppers and it was delicious. Love the pizza !! Came all the way from Nebraska for it so yummy.
It’s pretty good pizza. The crust is nice and chewy but I feel like overall the pizza is just okay. Staff was super nice though.
Several people recommended this place and I don't know why. It was just okay. We ordered 3 different pizzas, a salad, garlic bread, and drinks. Everything was fine but nothing special here. They don't accept reservations on weekend.
It was okay. Two stars because at least there was a vegan option. I got the mountain crust, and it was weird. We walked in to order takeout and waited inside the restaurant, so we should have been handed hot food, but my pizza was cold.It wasn't good. Vegan pizza can be good pizza, and it can definitely be great pizza, especially at this price point. Couldn't bring myself to eat the leftovers. Whole thing looked plastic and fake.
Love the pizza! We have been here a few times over the years, but it hasn't been our go-to spot. It can be tricky to find parking on the street in the evenings, but the parking garage is a good option for those nights. This is a fun place to visit and take advantage of the honey on your crust afterward. It's a really nice touch. The salad bar is usually pretty good and the space is large and can be good for groups. We have enjoyed quiz here a few times and it's been fun. The beer selection is decent and mostly local. The thing that doesn't seem consistent is the service. We have great experiences with service and then fairly disappointing experiences as well. In the past we have seen issues with how the management has handled some situations, but it hasn't been a personal problem. Come check it out if you haven't been before, since it is a fairly unique pizza experience.
