Fantastic beer bar with a stellar tap list, great atmosphere, and tasty food menu as well. It was my first visit to Fort Collins, but as soon as I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. Highly recommended!
Fantastic beer selection and super friendly bobtenders that will take the time to help you select beers based on your preferences. They are more than happy to let you try anything and really care about the customer experience. If you like good beer, you will be happy here.
Bob's has been my wife and I's go to for a few years now. We initially came for the beer selection which is always rotating and always great. Now we come for the beer selection, the employees, the (from scratch) food, the vibe, and the events (5 course brewery face off). It can be pricey at the end of the night but it's one of the few places I can say it's 100% deserved.
Always a cheerful and attentive staff. Great beers and incredible food! Highly recommend stopping in for a drink. And they have fun trivia on Sundays!
I don't like gumbo, but I love Avuncular Bob's gumbo. Pesto's not my thing, but Avuncular Bob's pesto is. Stout? Eh, pass. Except for that Baptist stuff Bob's often has on tap.If you're seeing a pattern here, you got it. Almost everything I've had at Bob's has been among the best of whatever thing it is I've had -- and I live nearby, so I've had a lot of things at Bob's. Seriously, those pretzel rolls with honey mustard.... and the mac and cheese, and the chicken tacos...Add in the friendly staff and the *aces* music selection, and you've got a winner of a place tucked away on this nondescript street. The only bad thing about it is that it's not open seven days a week.
First time here and good experience. Hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Place overall is modern and clean with seating at bar and tables.Ordered corned beef and hash, excellent and delicious. Chill vibe so I recommend coming here for a few beers and good eats. Also they have trivia one Sunday a month.
If I try to list all my favorites here, we'd have a book with at least three healthy chapters. Chapter 1, Beer, would note the couple of dozen rotating taps; the frequent gourmet excusions into cask-aged ales and other beer exotica; and best of all, the enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff, in whose personal daily diaries, I'm sure, beer is reverentially referred to. Chapter 2, Food, would praise the city's best Green chili soup, the five cheeses crowding the mac'n'cheese, and the reuben sandwiches. Chapter 3, people, is the longest, and helps ensure we close our book on a glowing note. Bob's staff are like a family, and Bob's is their home. They welcome you ... and even me!
Awesome staff and AMAZING food!! Definitely can't wait to go back and enjoy the atmosphere, alcohol, and those KILLER pretzel bites/Mac and cheese!!!
My fiance and I lived in Fort Collins for 2 years and Bob's was literally our favorite place!! The staff are friendly, food is amazing, and they always have a nice selection of beer. We even took my mom here when she visited us and she still talks about it!
great beer, great food and friendly staff
