We decided to try The Copper Pot after browsing through UberEats one night and honestly, it's pretty tasty. It's also not terribly expensive and it travels well via food delivery. Their breakfast items are better than going to Denny's or something.

My grandma died this morning. I don’t order take out much but I ordered from them because I wanted an easy dinner. They stapled the receipt to another person’s order so instead of my dinner I got a cold burrito and soggy fries. I have no idea how long the food was sitting there to be so cold as I live very close to this place. This was just one more bad thing I didn’t need happening today. Maybe their in person service is good but the delivery was bad for me.
Good place to have a delicious green chili. Got enough to hit you on your first bite but not so that can't stop you from eating. Pack your patience as due the pandemic they are under staff but it's worth it.
Amazing! Huge portions, welcoming atmosphere, and the best meal I've had in Durango so far. Definitely try their Mac & Cheese balls! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend ?
A funky neighborhood place. Don't be misled.Great food, friendly, competent staff. We have met friends and family here regularly since we moved into neighborhood and pandemic began to ease last June.
Great local spot. We've driven past so many times but never stopped to try it out. Had meatloaf and the mac & cheese with green chili. Both were delicious! The young man who was our server was friendly and engaging, as well. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
I have been ordering from Copper Pot 3-4 times a week for the past year. I love the chicken fried chicken and meatloaf. I had been getting the blue plate (smaller size) because it was the perfect amount of food. This week they did away with the smaller size, which means you pay an extra $7 for a lot more food. They also raised the price of a single cupcake by $2 (these are not gourmet cupcakes by any means).I usually get delivery but will echo other reviews that the restaurant itself is usually dirty and the staff isn’t very attentive or pleasant.Bummed that everything went so high so quickly. I won’t be eating here any longer.
Somewhere in the last year, this place has gone downhill. Absolutely gross food. No one there at lunchtime... not a good sign.Owner's child carrying on next to our table. No receipt even after I asked for one. Found out later it was so they could add surcharges and their own extra tip.
Comfort food at its best! I love that they offer smaller portions. Affordable prices. Friendly staff. Good music play list. All around a great spot. We’ll be back!
