Won’t go here. Was walking in this morning to try it out for the first time and saw an older male employee rudely shoo away a displaced person. He wasn’t in the building or being disruptive and was standing next to a public trash can. No thanks.
Only had pre-packaged food other than pastry and the only way they cooked the pre-packaged food was in a panini press, so the sausage biscuit ended up with a flat biscuit that honestly tasted good but was not a biscuit after having all of the air pressed out of it. Only two people working on a Saturday morning made it a long wait.
Nice coffee shop conveniently located by the Englewood light rail station. The service was fast and friendly, the male barista was cool, and my americano was great. There’s lots of seating available inside and at the patio area outside. Docking one star because my bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was a little burnt, I didn’t care for the panini-style breakfast sandwich. Definitely worth grabbing some coffee here.
Needed a very high quality cold brew for a cocktail I’m making. Holy **** did these guys deliver!Their cold brew had the exact flavor profile I was looking for. Will definitely be back
The coffee and baristas here are amazing, the art makes me wish I didnt spend so much on the good coffee (lol) and I truly find this a great place to meet with friends, read, or simply stop for an exceptional cup of coffee. the espresso resembles a dark chocolate flavor, and the CO distributed food is amazing. Love the sausage sandwich. We need more independent coffee shops with good tasting coffee!
Fantastic coffee shop! I am already a fan of the area thanks to the museum, trolleys, parks, and beautiful statues. But this coffee shop was the cherry on top.I especially loved the fact that it served Honduran coffee and kombucha on tap. Will definitely go back!
Like This Place. I like the proximity to Englewood Bus/Rail Station. I can get a coffee and drink while I wait for the bus or train. Coffee is always good. Employees show "Local Pride" which I like.Good Coffee is worth paying a little more for.
Baristas are friendly and engaging.Nixon’s Coffee House has a variety of seating, inside and out.A variety of drinks are available, from coffee to kombucha.Street side parking is available.Free wi-fi is available. The coffee shop is open! They closed for a bit during the pandemic and for 6 months for a remodel following a flood. They are open now (March 2022) and have been since June 2021.Go by and visit the locally owned coffee shop.
Study spot: 5/5. Here they have an option to purchase drip coffee with free refills for a little over $3. Friendly staff. Good, reliable wifi. Background music was not objectionable and was played at an acceptable volume. Decent number of outlets. On a Wednesday there was plenty of room to spread out, not too crowded. There were also plenty of 2 hour parking spots next to the establishment.
Support this business!I’m always in search of good local coffee shops, that are not the regular chain places, and I found this place the other day! The coffee is AMAZING, the atmosphere was great and the service wonderful!
