I live in Wash Park and have been coming to Los Portales for years. The salsa is so good! I usually get the Mexican Steak which is my personal favorite but my wife says the Fajitas are delicious as well. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is always nice and the service is quick even when it's busy. Really can't go wrong here. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant starting with the staff everyone was polite and kind. The food was amazing! Great salsa. We ordered the chili relleno burrito and the fajita burrito with green chili. Both are delicious options. I'm looking forward to returning.
My new favorite spot to order delivery from. I've had multiple dishes and they have all been excellent and thoughtfully packaged for delivery. My only wish is that there would be an option to purchase chips and salsa for the delivery order. Please add that option! ?
I was disappointed in the food here. My friends had great reviews about this place. I will give them another chance because there were only 2 people waiting on the tables and it was busy. However the waitess was not nice but our chip/drink server was wonderful. I had the tacos carnitias and it was dry, even with the sauce they provided. Next time I'll try something different.
Every time I come here I have a great experience. I love their smothered burritos! When I'm in the mood for Mexican food, this is usually the first place I think of.
I had the worst of my experiences today despite the fact that I always go to the restaurant when I have time since I am a patient at Craig hospital and it is the closest thing there is. I asked for some stuffed shrimp for my daughter, but how spicy are they? I asked if they could be made without spicy. The owner of the restaurant rudely replied that it couldn't be done because there wasn't time and I told her that I knew that if it could be done, there are only a few Bacon-wrapped shrimp didn't take her even 5 minutes to make and she rudely replied that when it was my restaurant she did it, she was rude and despotic even though we were 2 disabled, the owner will not let me lie since she was the one who treated us badly
Delicious food and great service. We are so happy we found a good Mexican spot closer to our house. Great margs too! Will definitely be back soon
Wouldn't recommend. Don't waste your time. Owner is rude and food portions are ridiculous, for price. Go down to El Tadajo, it's way better and worth the drive!
Delish entrees... shredded beef tostatda was awesome green chilli gets an A+ fried ice cream looked great but not a cornflakes crispy crust more cakey.
Messed up the order. I called and asked if there was cheese on top of the burrito. Not one shred of cheese anywhere.it wasn’t smothered either.Very small burrito. Soggy taco. Everything is cold.Called to tell the lady I asked about smothered and cheese, she was rude and told me to call doordash. Doordash didn’t make this bad food.Horrible in every way. Wasted 20.00
