Had another great meal at the Pea.I had chicken fried chicken with jalapeno gravy. Good, the jalapeno gravy is not hot. Tasty.Also had desert, large chocolate with caramel and 2 scoops ice cream. Plenty for two.
The server was super Nice and The food was great Best fried green tomatoes I've ever had Super was so Yummy ? and my grandma loved her dinner as well We will be returning again
Service was really great. Food was ok but not there yet for me personally to give a 5 star. I would definitely come back to try another dish.
The service was amazing our girl was on it. We didn't need to ask for anything. The food sucked. Husband got meatloaf and pot roast. It was plain the seasoning there was none. I got the chicken which was good cause it was fresh. Other then that it was not good.
I haven't eaten here since I was a little kid and now I am sad. Its that quintessential home cooking from grandma. The staff was really nice.
Definitely not as good of food as it used to be customer service was good but the food definitely was not.. we went back again tonight as a family service was amazing food was amazing the only problem was is that we ordered an extra meal as a to-go item we paid for it never received it no word mentioned of it I've tried for the past hour to get through to the restaurant and they are not answering their phone for some reason.. we did pay cash so we don't have any proof of what we ordered except for the gentleman that was our waiter can vouch for it. Thank you Black Eyed Peas family, I enjoyed the atmosphere. The incredible rolls and cornbread muffins. Are incredible, incredible! And the chipotle chicken salad. Was awesome! And the hospitality was awesome. Highly recommend
Totally missed this place you all left Houston years ago but was so glad to be visiting Denver and this wonderful place here the waitress was great food was as good as I remember it.... please come back to Houston
Black Eyed Pea, feel sorry for the management. Food quality is still great, but the service has become slow and unattentive. Used to enjoy the visits. Now, we have to give them an extra hour time frame to make sure we get our meal and have time to eat.
The food was delicious. The price was very reasonable. The service and atmosphere was excellent. We will stop in again.
