Last four times I've tried to get ice cream here they told me they were "out of ice cream"Whether or not this is truthful is only half the problem. If this indeed the truth then why are they constantly empty on ice cream? Surely there aren't enough people on a brisk 50 degree day to deplete the soft serve reserves.Burgers are okay.
I've always liked certain good and drink items at my local Sonic but yesterday was a HUGE disappointment. I ordered, among other items, a medium popcorn chicken with honey mustard and a medium jalapeno poppers, which usually comes with ranch dressing. I drove home, 15 miles, as soon as my order was brought to me. Instead of the popcorn chicken, I got 2 orders of jalapeno poppers, 4 honey mustards and no ranch dressing. Because I live so far away, it was not feasible to drive another 30 miles round trip to get the order corrected, especially with gas in Durango at $4.29. So I ate jalapeno poppers with my own ranch dressing for dinner. I called the store and whoever answered the phone set the phone down and for 10 minutes before I finally hung up, I listened to the employees at Sonic talking, laughing and carrying on. I tried calling back multiple times and the phone line was always busy. I then called the national phone number listed on my receipt and talk to a person who took my complaint and promised I would be called by a manager from the local Sonic. It is now 28 hours later and I never received a call from a local manager. Sonic of Durango - I am very disappointed with your poor service, lack of responsiveness and poor professionalism.
Unfortunately the onion rings were not edible way over cooked. We went as far as to have the car hop, (who gave us outstanding service thank you! She got a tip!), get us a fresh order which also was burnt to crisp. Other than that the visist was good thanks!
Time and time again I find that the staff at this particular sonic are incredibly rude. I’m not sure if they are short staffed or have other challenges but I’ve heard them yell at other customers on multiple occasions and they have been rude to me as well more than once. My order is also often wrong but I can see past that and understand that mistakes are made its the overall rudeness that is the issue.
Drive thru was closed. Parking spots are pretty tight for a truck. The location was pretty busy but I got my food in a reasonable amount of time.
Ugh. Got the Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito combo for $7.90 on 12/6/2021.About 1/2 way through the burrito I found a long black HAIR. I returned to Sonic and they offered to make me a new one (no thanks) or return my money. I asked for my money back, of which they returned $4.00 to cover just the burrito. Given that I just ate a human hair, they should have returned ALL my money, since it killed my appetite completely. Macho Burrito is right across the street. A few more dollars, but I’ve never found a hair in one.
I bought the grilled cheese double Burger, if u have never had it you should really try it. The order was fast easy .
Mozzarella sticks and pepper poppers over cooked a bit, but good.Mocha chip blast shakes did not have any mocha chips....out again due to shortage. Service attendant saved the day for sonic, she was very pleasant and apologized for the shortcomings.
Quick service with customer service that meats :) your expectations.
Website allows for mobile orders even though the restaurant was closed well before their posted closing time. Sonic customer service was beyond rude by hassling me for trying to cancel amy order. They also informed me that I wouldn't get my money back for 7-10 business days! Absolutely poor customer service from such a large company.You have lost a customer for life.
