Ate here for supper. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. You order at the counter, then find a seat. Completely self serve, so watch when you pay for the tip section. Lots of indoor seating, seating in a section that is screened in, and also patio seating overlooking the river. Food itself was all delicious. We had brisket, pork, chicken, sausage, ribs, and mac and cheese. All of the meats were moist/juicy and cooked perfectly. 2 sauces available on the tables. Unlimited pickles, onions, lemons, and limes. Prices are a bit high for the amount you get. There are no meals, you just order individual items to make your own combo. Dining areas were clean. MIni golf is also available. $6.00 per person. You get the clubs / balls right next to were you order the food inside the restaurant. We did not golf so I can't comment on quality of the course. Multiple families were golfing when we were there though.

There is a South location as shown here, and also a North location in the 3500 block of N Main. Both are essentially the same. Both are totally self service. Customers even clear their table when finished. Still “suggested tips” appear on the credit card check-out —- which is right beside the tip jar. Both locations have outdoor seating. The South location is best with views of the Animas River. The food at both locations has been good when we visited. Menu prices are lower than average for Durango. In my opinion, there are two problems. First there is a single line to order, pick up the food, and pay. At peak times, that line can be very long. Second, the Bar-B-Que sauces in bottles on the tables is thin and watery.

not really Texas quality bbq, but ok, and too expensive for the quality, but a lot of choices and drinks

We were only passing through, but this place sure brought smiles to our born-and-raised Texas faces! From the college decor to the delicious food, we enjoyed every bit of it. The lighted deck through the back is beautiful and since it was already dark, we went back the next day to see the rest...what a great view of the river!! The peewee golf was a bonus. Would love to go back.

We love us some southern BBQ.STBBQ supplies a decent amount of options for meats. The smoked sausage wraps are pretty tasty. We also ordered the brisket which was ok, definitely not the worst brisket I've ever had.The only thing lacking was the flavor of the sauces which is limited. All and all a decent BBQ place.

Meats were all good but not served hot only mildly warmThe cheesy potatoes too saltyMac n Cheese deliciousDidn’t care for their sauces

We used to love this place, but have eaten here 3 times this year and won't go back. My sister tried it 2 weeks ago after I told her not to, and she too will not go back. Too bad, it used to be really good.

Uhhh,… not so good - they need a manager or somebody who knows F&B to oversee what’s happening. Went at opening ,..cheesy potatoes and beans were clearly ‘reheated’ from yesterday not at all warm let alone hot. Staff just grabbed a handful and plopped it into the tray. Literally ‘grabbed’ I was taken aback and that would have been acceptable if was close to good - terrible. Meat is served from a steam pan. We’ve been to many many Texas bbq joints and this is not even close. You can try to duplicate Texas BBQ but it needs more than advertising and decor. Stop trying to expand and get it right -

Good food, good service. But seriously?? $30 for two people at a fast food joint? I got a cheesy potatoes, a sausage wrap, ONE drink that we shared, and a sm side of pulled pork. That was $30. WAY too much for what it is.

Wow Serious, I'm curious if you care about your product anymore? Being born and raised here I remember supporting you when it was a food truck. When the North location first opened we use to take our $5 lunch money and get a taco and drink... Oh the good old days (not complaining about price, I understand food costs).Consistently over the past 9 months there have been continuous issues in the drive through. Forgotten sides, forgotten tacos, missed drinks etc. Yes times are hard with staffing, however these are basic mistakes. Today we ordered tacos, drinks, 1/4lb brisket and Coleslaw. Here is the fat that was not rendered or trimmed off the brisket. More than 2/3 fat. Here is the coleslaw (no it hasn't been taken a bite of) this is how it came. Is it eaten? Low fill? Scooped out for a custom taco? From a LONG time patron: Care about your product, care about the service you give. Seems long are those days though...
