Nice restaurant for Pasta’s. We ordered Tartufo and Aglio e Olio both were really good. The ambience is very good as well!

I'd have to say this is one of the best Italian restaurants and pasta that I've had in a long time. The pasta was well prepared, with just the right amount of seasoning, and related ingredients. The serving size was generous and very filling. The garlic bread was excellent. Service was above average.Overall, everything was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced for what you're getting. The only slightly unusual feature of the restaurant is that after you're seated and look over the menu, you get up to pay at the counter before your food arrives. This is odd as it otherwise looks and is treated like a traditional restaurant where you'd expect to pay after eating. This does make tipping rather odd, as they are asking for this at the time of payment. On the plus side, it means we could just leave when we were done. This might be a good opportunity to try a no-tip pricing model.Otherwise, this is located in downtown Durango, toward the outside of the main touristy part of town. So parking is limited to public areas. And restrooms are in an awkward location, in a hallway outside of the restaurant. Minor issues for an otherwise tasty experience.

FRESH FRESH FRESH!! Everything on the menu. The pasta was amazing the meatballs are delicious the sauce that comes on the side with the meatballs is spectacular. Make a reservation so that you can get seated right away. I don't think there is a negative thing to say about here.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The pasta and drinks were great.

I normally reserve 1 star for the absolute worst experiences, but I just can't find it in my heart to give this one a 2.Normally I would write some funny quip comparing the food to something else, but this is pasta. You have to go out of your way to mess it up, so i'll just put down the details.Dish 1 - Bolognese w/ Hand Rolled Meatballs. The bolognese had a lot of meat, which I like. But that was about it. I couldn't taste anything but the meat, no onion, no garlic, no tomato. This should be cooked and simmered in wine, milk, and plum tomatoes. The meat was moist, but the whole dish completely lacked in flavor. The hand rolled meatballs were so dry on the outside that they had formed a skin that took considerable pressure to cut through with a fork! I only eat one meal a day, and I couldn't even finish it.Dish 2 - Tartufo. The pasta was good, the mushrooms were good, but the sauce could be best described as milk flavored water. All 5 people at my table tried it and none of them liked it. Adding salt to it made it marginally better. Completely lacked any salt, but adding our own only slightly improved this dish. The Mushroom Panino had good flavor, but parts of it were soggy. The foccaccia bread was OK.

Excellent food at a good price. Nice friendly atmosphere. We had to order at the counter, but it was easy. Plus, it affords faster service in a labor-constrained environment.

Food is awesome, staff is awesome, atmosphere is awesome! I really don't mind the hybrid-service model where you order at register. I also appreciate how speedy they are with online orders! Makes it a great option for a quick lunch.

Delicious, you order up front and then wait for the food to be brought to you. Lasagna was out of this world, great place for affordable Italian food freshly made daily I believe. There's a chance they reheat food but I couldn't tell.

We all ordered different things but shared to be able to try the different flavors. Can I just say...WOW... It was all delicious. The service and atmosphere was great as well. The only down side is that all four of us thought they were missing the mark on just having a waitress take your orders. They were already doing a bang up job coming to out table but...why not just the orders. We probably would have all ordered more drinks which means more money, but we sat and talked and forgot (since we were comfortable) we had to get back up to order more drinks or dessert, so we ended up shipping it.OH WELL, it was still EXCELLENT every other way.????

The food was amazing! High quality ingredients, beautifully assembled and prepared. The service is, obviously, designed to keep the menu prices accessible, e.g. ordering at the counter. Still, the service was prompt and friendly. My perspective comes from someone who worked in restaurants for 11 years when I was younger, and who, in my professional life, has had restaurant experiences in the major metropolitan area where I live and throughout the U.S.. I’m also of Italian heritage, so perhaps I’m even more discriminating. This restaurant is a gem, for the delicious, high quality food they serve and for the value they are aiming to provide.
