Good atmosphere. Excellent food.
Traveling through and wanted a nice dinner at this fabulous old hotel. Another event was happening so our food was slow coming out. Ok but donât ignore us! Drop off dishes and disappear. Asked for decaf tea and brought me black tea after we had finished eating. Food just okay. I do not think I got the steak I ordered. It was over salted/seasoned- maybe to cover the quality up? The soup was flavorless and the potatoes were heavy with garlic. Patient gone. Just paid bill and left.
Do not waste your money!!! Brussel sprouts were tough couldn’t chew them Pork chop was dry no seasoning no flavor Chicken saltimbocca was flavorless bland dry no seasoning Navajo cornbread wasn’t cooked all the way House salad tomatoes were no good not enough dressing for a salad that big Was never asked what we wanted to drink Was given a glass of ice water and only one glass was never asked if we wanted a refill $112 waste of money We will never go back!!!!
Very good service, server was very attentive,. They were out of the ribeye, which is what we had gone for. The calamari appetizer lacked flavor and was very chewy did not finish. The blue cornbread was very good the salad was good with the raspberry dressing. The brussels sprouts war season nicely but very tough and Chewy, did not finish.
What an amazing dinner, we had the elk & the wild boar, it was outstanding!! So were the beet & the Gorgonzola salad s!!
Great food and early Victorian atmosphere make for a pleasant evening. Sit near the back if there is inclement weather.
Our server was great and we liked everything but dessert. Atmosphere was lively.
Great menu with gluten free options. Portions are large: appetizer (cornbread), we split a salad and it was like a normal portion for each of us. Entree's were la' carte so we ordered the risotto which enough for 4 people. Overall, great food and atmosphere is an historic hotel.
Our reservation was for 630 PM. The waitress proceeded to tell us what they were “Out of” from the menu. This was after we were told they did not have The Southern Comfort we wanted for Our pre-dinner cocktail; very disappointing.
Excellent meal. A guest was VERY loud. Annoying! Not much they could do but it was annoying from moment he walked in.
