778worldtravelerWaterford, Wisconsin7495Top Breakfast SpotWe enjoyed our home cooked breakfast here in what could be described as a museum with all the Western artwork, wildlife mounts, and trinkets on the walls. Very interesting decor throughout the restaurant. The omelets and side dishes were made to perfection and the service was prompt. Would highly recommend starting your day here.

We stopped by to just get some iced tea to go. The man who waited on us was very friendly and professional. The inside looked very well kept and everyone inside seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food.

I recommend you go for the burgers and piano. The waiters were excellent and fun. Don't forget to tip the pianist!

We had breakfast at the Lone Spur - be sure to come hungry because the portions are huge. Food was good, reasonably priced and the service was very good.

We were under the impression that this was a good restaurant to get a taste of local cuisine, but the food is generic, as is the decor. Decent but lukewarm chili. no soap in the bathroom. The server told my wife they were out of tuna, but as we were leaving we watched another server bring two tuna sandwiches to the table next to ours. There are plenty of better options.

Extremely disappointed! Came here on our last day of the trip after seeing the great reviews. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone even asked us what we’d like to drink! And then when the waiter was finally ready to take our order, he extremely rudely told us they are only serving lunch menu (we were given breakfast menu by the hostess!!). We very politely obliged and my friend right away ordered a sandwich from the lunch menu. I was debating between 2 items and wanted to get a little more info and the waiters recommendation (i also have food restrictions due to health reason). But the waiter was in such a rush (they were NOT busy) and showed NO INTEREST in helping us with any questions! Most restaurants in this town has great customer service. Our first BAD experience in Durango. Will def NOT come back next time we are in town.DO BETTER Lone Spur Cafe.

As the title suggests, with many Main Street restaurants closed for lunch on Mondays (and Tuesdays), we gave Lone Spur a try because they are open for lunch. I had a half ham sandwich and cup of French onion soup and the wife had a salad. The only problem was that the boiled egg that was supposed to be on the salad wasn’t. Otherwise the food was good, and and at significantly lower price than most Main Street full service restaurants. Service was good, if a bit too slow. But everything in Durango is understaffed, and all service everywhere is a bit slow. Lone Spur is generally open for breakfast and until 2:30 PM, whereas too many others are open only after 4:00 PM for the more expensive dinner service. While there, I reviewed the breakfast menu (which you can order any time open) and there are a large number of choices, available in regular and large portion sizes. We must return and try the breakfast offerings.

My steak and fries weren't anything to write home about. Staff is nice but a little flighty. The atmosphere if fun and rustic. If I go back I will probably order breakfast as that's what seems to be their thing.

Wanted a great breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, excellent quality food, great service! My only issue would be the quantity of food you get, be prepared as their regular plates are larger than most places. If you like biscuits and gravy, you’ll love theirs. My husband couldn’t believe how much sausage was in the gravy and loved every bite. They are a chain restaurant in Southwest and felt like a small town cafe. You won’t be disappointed!

Awesome breakfast joint, good size portions. The pancake was almost as big as the table, and it was delicious!! Great service and my belly is happy
