I came in a skeptic, but with the price point of $1,500 I made a profit of $22,350. The result has been the feedback from pros and customers has been amazing in terms of profits and the customer service is one of best departments I’ve ever dealt with, and have referred 2 customers who are also very happy . Food is okay and price was decent. Drinks gave me heartburn and the food was oily. However the customer service experience was not good. The ladies at the front and at the bar were really rude to our group. The lady at the bar was most unhelpful and didn't acknowledge me standing there as I was just wondering if I could order from the bar instead of waiting in the line to order food and was told to rudely "hold on I'm busy" I simply was just asking if this was possible and no problem waiting. I just walked away and waited in the main line to order there as I wasn't going to deal with her bad attitude. We came to your restaurant for a good time and ended up getting a bad attitude from the bar and front. Very uncomfortable service. Which I hope gets better and is addressed for your future customers who are likely visiting and looking to enjoy their time there. The group we were with arrived separately and ended up mentioning the service also because we both had the SAME experience. I will say the waitress in the back room was really nice. Very different service from the front to the back.

While attending the annual Iron Horse Bicycle Classic for their 50th anniversary, our group of cyclist friends visited our favorite mexican restaurant. Since COVID, their method of taking orders has changed. Customers are now required to order and pay at the front entrance, then be seated to be served. We visited Gazpachos twice this trip and our second trip was a disaster. After ordering at the front and paying for our order (and including a tip), we seated ourselves and received our order. My husband never received his beverage and had to go to the front desk to get it. The front desk person said she would bring his tea and never did. My husband went to the bar and asked to see the manager and the bar tender (a female) said she would send him right out. After waiting for the manager, my husband returned to our table to find an employee who could bring his tea. His tea was NEVER delivered. After eating our very delicious food which was prepared quickly (the kitchen staff rocks), my husband went to the front desk and asked for his $10 tip back due to lack of service. Our food bill was $45, so his $10 tip would have been appropriate if the service level was good. They were not able to find his bill ( he paid by VISA), so he never got his tea and he NEVER GOT HIS TIP BACK. They blamed the system for not being able to find his bill. We always stop at Gazpacho's when we visit Durango and are very disappointed in their lack of service. During our August trip to Durango, we also experienced less than satisfactory service. Hopefully, the owner, Matt, will see these constructive comments and make some much needed improvements in their customer service like it was before COVID.

This place has been GREATLY under reviewed by both Google and Yelp. The food was amazing. Excellent flavor on the chicken quesadilla and a chicken burrito. We went to a different higher rated restaurant the first day in town. It was good, but not as good as this place.5 stars for sure. You won't be disappointed.

Great New Mexican food. At this place, you order at the counter when you go in, pick a seat, and then they bring you the food and whatever else you need. The service was good, and the food came out quickly. The green chili was HOT! The portions were large, and everyone enjoyed their food.

Excellent service from friendly staff, great tasting green Chile and amazing salsas. The portions were large and full of flavor. A great place to try out southwestern cuisine!

If you're a New Mexican, or you want to try authentic NM food, this is your place. Both red and green are great. The red is head-and-shoulders above any other red chile in town. The margaritas are good and the Mexican beer on tap. If you don't like spicy, stay away or stick to the hamburger, which is among the best in town. We love the folks there, they have worked hard to stay open during the past 2 years, and they continue to work hard despite sometimes short staffing. Tip them well, people!

New Mex-Mex or Tex-Mex? It's a toss up! If you love green chiles, then get yourself ready for the smothering of your life. Big portions, so think about a family style ordering. Grab one of their delicious margaritas and be sure to say thank you to the hard working wait staff, they kill it!

The burrito was so delicious. We ordered extra cheese and we got EXTRA cheese. Extra cheese in the burrito, and a whole side cup of cheese. They also threw in sopapillas. Not sure if this is standard, or maybe it was a Valentine's day thing. Either way we appreciated it and they were delicious too.

We recently were on vacation in Durango with a group of friends/family, and Gazpacho was right next to our hotel. The staff was so kind to us, especially when we brought in a group of 10 people needing to be seated. They got us a table all together and took great care of us throughout our meal. I got the stuffed sopaipillas and LOVED them, and my husband got the Santa Fe Enchiladas on blue corn tortillas and loved his as well. At the end of our meal, we were given complimentary sopaipillas with honey and honey butter and just WOW. We had such a wonderful experience here and absolutely loved the food! Can't wait to visit again just to eat here!
