Great chicken fried steak and entertainment! We expected a longer wait but was able to get sitted within a few minutes. Staff was very friendly all smiles.

Brit was FANTASTIC!!!! Very attentive, entertaining, energetic and provided a great experience for us! The food and drinks were excellent. The bar and adjoining hotel lobby area are beautiful! Go here!?

Our group of 12 decided to fine at this restaurant. On Monday June 27, 2022 we arrived at 11:30 when you open and since you don't take reservations we thought that if we got there we would be able to get waited on quickly so some of us could be at the airport on time. WELL not true. So when all of our party arrived and we were ready to order there was not a waitress that would take it our order. A large party and small party arrived after is and they were seated served drinks and their orders taken immediately and they were served their food. We asked after about an hour or so if someone could take our order. We were informed that it would be at least another hour before we could place our order. We had to eat elsewhere. Heard from other businesses that this place is having ownership problems. Won't go back and will.not recommend.the place to.anyone. All comments will be NEGATIVE!!. So sad.. Vickie A

Great salads, drinks, and piano player. Fun historical stop. Walk through the lobby for more history.

Cool saloon in historic Statler Hotel! Servers in period costumes and a honky tonk pianist make you feel like you've gone back in time. And the food is really good too! Crispy salmon with tasty wild rice and fresh sautéed vegetables, and tender country fried steak with buttery mashed potatoes and fresh veggies! All delicious! An enjoyable experience and memorable evening!

The Diamond Belle Saloon is located inside the Strater Hotel in downtown Durango and follows the same old-west style and general theme. Everything has a reasonably good authentic feeling, in particular with the intentionally dated interior and design. Narrow staircases, live piano playing old tunes (when the waitress's phone isn't playing music), and all of the related decore you can imagine. The food was also pretty good, certainly above average. Even the turkey club sandwich I had was very tasty. It was a very large serving, with buttered toast, fresh ingredients, etc. If anything, it was a bit greasy, making it probably the least healthy sandwich I've had in a while. The salad, fries, and everything else were pretty good. Although I'd say on-par with the price paid. The service was average but perfectly acceptable. And of course, the waitresses were also dressed to match the old-west theme. Overall, worth a visit when in the area, but they do get busy quite easily in this relatively small and often crowded restaurant. And since it's downtown, parking is limited to public parking unless you are staying at the hotel.

Took forever to get food- 50 minutes, think the pot roast meal was Dinty Moore stew, came out in bowl, no veges, no potatoe or bread. Chicken dumpling meal- 3 small dumplings - I mean smaller than golfball and where chicken???? Small crumb size in kind of Alfredo sauce -sent food back twice because barely warm, waitress did offer other meals, did take price meals off after we complained. They were obviously short staffed , need a new cook

We arrived for Fathers Day Brunch at 10:30am expecting it to be crowded. There was one other family waiting for the doors to open. The young son went through the hotel lobby and told us we had to go around and enter that way. As we went past wait staff, we heard them say - did no one tell them we weren’t doing this today? - should have given us a clue. Quick downside from there - first seated, last served - lost our order and the girl came back to get it again after I asked her to check on it. Had to ask for silverware 3 times. Eggs were like rubber, potatoes over crispy/over cooked, asked for more coffee - one 2nd cup with coffee brought to our table of 3. Our bill was wrong. Thankfully we were visiting with a friend we hadn’t seen in a while, so the wait was OK. I believe the girl was new, but still - if you have problems, make sure you inform your guests, and at least train newbies to bring silverware setups with the water and/or coffee. We won’t be back.

We liked the Diamond Belle so much we went two nights in a row! The food was very good (especially the gorgonzola salad), the service excelent (thanks Brit and Sierra). But the real stand out is the piano player-Adam. He's great and makes the whole experience even better. We highly recommend having a meal in this historic saloon located in a historic hotel.

we had lunch twice at the Diamond Belle - food and service was good and reasonably priced. I had the Caesar salad and my wife had mixed greens. Both were good...
