We were there on Memorial Day Weekend. We had the best dinning experience there our whole trip. Our waiter Chief was amazing. We were a big party of 12 and he got everything we needed and was fast and just great overall. From service to attitude he was great! We had gone to three other places and we had horrible experiences. We were seated in a timely manner here and food came out fast and having a good waiter was a plus. We were hesitant to dine anywhere at that point since we had bad experiences at three other places. He made our day. Thank you all at Denny's for your great customer service!
We stop in Durango every year on our vacation. I love Denny’s wide list of gluten free dishes.
Bummer Dennys has gone way down hill. First the waitress gets the wrong fries but then when she tells the kitchen to make the proper fries they under fry them so there soggy and then she lets them sit in the window until i finished my meal cause fries normally come last you know! Been a few years since I've been to Dennys since all the ones around co springs and pueblo closed but I go back and much to my disappointment you order a full size nachos and there smaller than there old half size nachos. I think I counted 10 chips. Check the picture, if this is a full size I can't imagine what a halfsize would look like. 5 chips? No longer a Dennys customer.
We went in and the place was dead, there was only one waitress on the staff. Then all hell broke loose.The waitress was bringing food out at different times, when we only had two people. She did not fill the drinks, all while the lady manager was not delivering food, or making sure everyone was okay.The manager should have jumped in rather than just wiping off table.We had to ask for our check and refills, plus a box which took over 20 minutes.We went to pay with a coupon that apparently is not accepted anymore. But the coupon did not have an expiration date at all.This place use to be pretty good, management, and not taking discounts isn't worth the headache and price you pay here.Needless to say there are better places in durango to eat. Keep that in mind.
I came in with my elderly mother and I ordered the 5 alarm burger. It came in an oversized cold and crumbly bun. The meat was half the size of the bun and very grey in color. The sauce was NOT fresh and it appeared to have been old and sitting on that bun for quite a while. I've had unsatisfactory food in the past but this time I couldn't go without letting our waitress know. She did apologize but then offered to send the cook out to speak with me. The restaurant was full and I was not in the mood for that. She asked me what should she do and I told her I just wanted her to be aware of the problem. I expected that something would come off our bill since only a few bites were taken from my burger, but my mother paid the full price. I usually have great experiences at Denny's but not this time and unfortunately, I will not be back!

Came here around 11pm recently, the new interior remodel is gorgeous. I did get stuck with a lousy waitress though. She said she lost her voice that day and she seemed to completely forget about various items we ordered. My milkshake was already melted by the time she remembered to bring it to me and she forgot a friends toast. When she brought it over the toast was cold and soggy from sitting with butter in it. I did not tip her. The service was not worth tipping. Also, maybe don’t make a waitress work if she’s sick.
Excellent service, despite it being Christmas day. Great food, great service, excellent music!! The hostesses were polite, enjoyed speaking to our kids, and were able to accommodate us and our large family with little issue.
