The best little ice cream shop on the main drag in Durango. Stop in and try a bowl or waffle cone of their flavors on your walk.
When I say second place, I mean second BEST ice cream the wife and I have ever had. We travel a lot, and we love ice cream. CREAM BEAN BERRY is next level. The only ice cream that we have ever tried that is better, is Louisville Cream of Louisville, KY. That might sound biased, because Louisville Cream is local to us. But, it edges CREAM BEAN BERRY by a tiny margin. It's hard to split hairs here, because this place has incredible, artisan-level ice cream. Probably, on any given day, maybe this would be the best we ever had. Hard to say. My absolute favorite is the honey lavender. Such an interesting blend of flavor. But it doesn't matter what you order; whatever flavor you get it is going to be an experience. for anyone saying it's pricey... you get what you pay for. Ice cream at this level should cost more. This isn't Dairy Queen. enjoy.
Stopped here on a weekday afternoon after spending the day visiting Durango. Location was recommend as a "Must See" stop for ice cream by some of the locals. Seems like many people were of a similar mind, since the place was very busy when we arrived. However, staff were very efficient in handling orders and processing requests (i.e., line moved quickly and we had less than a 10 minute wait to be served). Location makes all of their ice creams from scratch, and they have options that are gluten-free, lactose-free, etc. I appreciated their non-dairy chocolate ice cream, which uses coconut milk, especially since it kept the smooth texture of normal ice cream versus the grittier feel some non-dairy versions have. Prices are on the upper end of the reasonable spectrum, but the ice cream was made on site and very enjoyable.
Love this place. They make everything from scratch and the ice cream is delicious. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. Try the fresh mint chocolate chip. It really does taste like fresh mint leaves!
The non dairy coconut chocolate ice cream was amazing! Sometimes non dairy ice creams have a poor texture. This had a really good texture and was smoothe. My husband has the salted caramel which he also enjoyed.
Cute, local ice cream shop that also offers other deserts and coffee. I was so happy to see they had 4 dairy free options!!! Delicious ice cream with cashew milk and coconut milk base. My chocolate coconut milk ice cream tasted very yummy
Love getting delicious ice cream here. Not the best value regarding price and portions but overall a great place to get ice cream and hang out downtown when company comes to town.

Visited here while on vacation in Durango, and while the ice cream was good, we wouldn't return if we lived there. First off, no samples at an ice cream shop is unheard of, especially when you offer homemade less traditional flavors. Second, the price of this place is outrageous. I know quality products cost more, but this shop goes beyond that. Nearly $8 for a milkshake, and getting single scoops for our little ones cost us as much here as it does to feed our family a meal at a reasonable fast casual place. Definitely using the touristy location to take advantage and price at whatever they want. Lastly, they do offer good ice cream, and we enjoyed it, but it doesn't stand out enough for it's price.
This place is phenomenal! My husband and I took our kids in and were greeted by a friendly helpful staff! Ice cream is clean, dye free, and most importantly delicious! My kids even got to have (dye free) sprinkles! Outdoor seating was delightful as well. Would highly recommend!!
