Some would say I’m obsessed with sourdough, and Bread has some of the best I’ve tried, but that’s not the reason for this review. The customer service I just received was absolutely stellar! Hubby and I ran in to grab some B’fast and I asked for some butter to go with my sourdough. They don’t have to-go butter at this location (a bit weird) BUT the sweetest young lady at the front came up with a quick and amazing solution - a little bit of pesto! So appreciated her thinking out of the box versus just sending me on my way with dry (but so very delicious) bread!
They had always had the best calzones I have tasted ,but discontinued them. I asked them why, because they seemed to sell well? They said they were too much work to make. Today I drove to bread (I live in Farmington ) to buy there delicious sour dough and red onion loaf. They said they did not make any today. I asked why not and they said they did not know why.
Bread is all around incredible!!! Kyra, at the north location, designed and made us the most beautiful wedding cake. It was equally delicious and beautiful. And the team at the downtown location made my aunt in Seattle's dreams come true by cheerily delivering pastries to the salon where I got my hair and makeup done the morning of my wedding while she was a million miles away. They're incredible people and make incredible goodies. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for making my most special day perfect!!
So good! Super friendly staff, quick service, amazing coffee and sandwiches. Plus, they have real baking skill. If they sold butter to go with their sandwiches and bread, it'd be a complete one-stop-shop. I look forward to going back!
Cannot say enough about Bread! The food was absolutely amazing, but what really made the experience superb was the staff. They were so friendly and truly went above and beyond to make our experience great. We will be back again and again!
Best bread of Durango. I like the focaccia..specifically with mozzarella, tapenade, pesto and arugula. But the Sammies can be made carelessly and you won't get the perfect portion per bite. Also they're premade so that's a little sad but they're high production so i can be ok with that so i don't have to wait a mile out the door like it's new York or something...it's not that good... probably only because celebrities don't go there
Delicious!! Went here because I had heard amazing things about Bread. They didn't disappoint. Purchased 4 bakery items blueberry danish, pecan roll, peanut butter cookie and slow rolled oatmeal cookie. Everything we got was delicious. Looking forward to visiting again soon!!
Consistently excellent selection of glutenous carbs. From loaves, to sweets, and more. They have affordable pre-made sandwiches, including a vegetarian mozzarella focaccia with olives. Aside from sandwiches and other staples, their menu and availability changes daily. The staff are hard working and friendly and encourage social distancing.
Sandwiches were great! Pre-made fresh daily in the deli counter. Perfect pairing with boulder canyon kettle chips and a Zuberfizz root beer! No seating inside, but a couple seats outside if you’re dressed appropriately.
The bread here is spectacular, which is a good thing considering it matches the namesake. The turkey sandwich is very good, highly recommended. As are the gingersnap cookies.
